Thanks a lot, OG. I really appreciate it. Very happy with this first grow. She got about 25-30 tops. Thanks to the scrog. Definitely a great training technique, but it does have its draw backs. Have a few ideas on how to make it work better next run.

I completely forgot I wanted to give her at least 24 hours of darkness before harvest. So lights are going off right now, and after 24 hours, she will get chopped.

I believe they do, dark is when trichromes develop so I can only assume it continues during that extended dark period . they did when I put my autos in the dark for 3 days

Harvest Update: Gumdrop Kush harvested 10-16-2017. day 73 post flip. 10 weeks 3 days. She sprouted 6-19-2017.

So, chop and trim is complete. It took me literally all day to trim. The excitement wore off after about 3 or 4 colas. Then it just became tedious. Lol I tried to chop her strategically. For hanging purposes.

I decided to do a full trim, hence why it took so long. Except for one cola, just to see the difference in how they dry. I think I did a pretty good job with the trim. The buds look gorgeous!

There was a whole trash bag of trim lol. Unfortunately I don't have a resin press, or the time to do anything with it. So in the trash the trim went. Next time I will make full use of the trim.

So now she is in the tent drying. Hope to dry her as slow as possible, like it to last a week. We'll see.

Its obvious that light was kind of lacking. Even with 260 watts. You can tell the penetration was lacking, because for the most part, the colas are only fat on top. The new panel I'm getting from Perfect Sun, will do a much better job.

Also snapped a few pics of the roots. They look pretty healthy.

The last 3 are just the main roots, after taking away all the rest, and washing it in water.

Shot of the drying tent. There's 3 of those hanger things full of buds. The third is kinda hard to see, it's in the back.

And that's it, hopefully she takes close to a week to dry. I will be checking on her multiple times a day, really don't want to mess this first dry and cure up.

Didn't get a wet weight. Didn't think it necessary. Although now I'm thinking it might have been nice to know how much weight was lost during the dry. Oh well.

Thanks man, yeah there will for sure be some bud porn coming soon. Feels good to have it over with, well almost. First grow in the books, a success. I just hope the dry and cure is just as successful.

Agreed. Unless you plan on breeding, take the males out and expose of them. Before they flower and open. Lol .
