Any idea of how much I should trim? Only the tiniest buds at the very bottom and all new branch growth like in this pic?

Hate to sound too nervous but this is my first grow and I want to be able to show off my harvest! A lot of my (non-growing) friends are talking trash about what I'll be able to get.

Thanks! For now I'm trying some extreme leaf tucking first as well as a little late LST just to pull some of the lower branches out and into the sun/CFLs (I'm still moving them into the lights at night).

Last night I put an addition on my makeshift indoor CFL light augmentation system.

I had a roll of that reflector stuff up in the ceiling of the garage. Think it will make any difference?

Here's Blueberry 2 on day 40 with some pipe cleaner additions to the LST.

I'm going to let the main stem head up now (the one just above the black pipe cleaner, and only train the side branches that are blocking growth under them. Based on the timing of Blueberry 1, it should be pretty close to starting flower production.

Thanks for the sub! Glad I can share my first grow with y'all. I'm trying to put into practice everything I've learned through my online research.

And after harvest, I plan on using every piece of the plants for something. Buds for the smoking, sugar leaves for either ice water bubble hash or thrown in with the fan leaves and stems for canna lotion, and the roots for a canna-root lotion as well.

I'll be documenting all of it here so stay tuned!

Completely gloomy and overcast here today, so the photos won't have a lot of pop in the lighting. Apologies up front for that.

OK, let's start with the obligatory AK-47, here on day 42:

Flowers are starting but as I said before, I have no expectations of this little plant and I'm not considering it the standard for the strain.

On to Blueberry 2 which isn't getting any more LST as I let it head upwards and do whatever it feels like doing.

Flowers are beginning to show as I expected given that this is day 41, around the time that Blue 1 did the same.

This and the AK got fed last night before going under the CFLs, 1.5tsp/gal of GrowBig, a gallon each. I won't be adding any bloom nutes until I'm sure they are done with veg.

Some of the upper pistils are starting to turn brown at the tips. What's that mean?

I would get a jewlers loop 40x and check the clarity of the resin heads once they are about 50 percent cloudy i would start to flush and take her down once they are 80% and most of the resin stalks are laying down
