Any of you guy's ever done any light deprivation at the end of flowering to increase bud swell and resin production?
Just wondering if there is any truth to that theory. I have read where some folks give their plants total darkness for the last 24-48hrs
of their life. In theory this shocks the plant into thinking its going to die and it kicks bud swell and resin production into high gear.
Any body got any thoughts on that?

I am finished with my coloring area and wish to see some pictures

I also noticed more growth and what looked to be new pistils like little mini buds forming off of the main buds.

That last plant was doing this to me...just when I thought I could pull it there would be more bud growth. I did this to me for like a week...

Awesome OMM, that's what I want to hear! I also have an alternate reason for trying this. We have had some cold weather move in and it's going to be a perfect opportunity to blast them with some super cold air to really get the most purple out of them. I hope!

How many days do you give them darkness Omm and do you let the soil dry out during this period?

36 is good for me. I have done just 24. That time I just made sure the were semi wet. It can be looked at like an early drying too. Easier dry and to trim.
