I did look at the Mars Brand anyone use these

Thanks. We are trying to be careful (budget and wastefulness) make good decisions. We have done a lot of remodeling 5 rooms and hall. The area for the tent is next. Waiting on electrician. Future fun

I'm looking at getting the 2x4 too with two of those Mars Hydro 250 lights, hopefully some one runs one that can I've a good review .

We have a 1200 watt light. Do I have to get a large size?

The rule of thumb is 50w per sq ft measured at the wall.

I'm with Penny, I started out with a MH 28"x28"X5' tent. Very well made, good price and pretty fast shipping, but I played hell trying to control the environment during flower
Purchase as big as you can afford both money and space. Then go for the best lights you can afford to buy. Consider how much you want to spend on electricity when shopping for your lights.
