Headroom Incident By Gwhunran 2022

If the nutrients didn't burn them before it shouldn't now.
Dropping rh improved your vpd.
I used to run about 1.2 in flower.
Maximize nutrient uptake to improve growth and strength of your girls.
How is your nitrogen levels?
I usually like to reduce nitrogen a little by now.
I noticed the color is very dark. :Namaste:

I hope your right Bill. I was mainly going by something I read a long time ago about the plants taking in more from the roots with low humidity, and not much from the air. In high humdity, a lower amount from the roots the rest from the air, so less nutrients.
If I am using the recommended maximum nutes and they start drinking more, plus the decreasing level in the reservoir is making the remainder in the reservoir a higher nute concentration.
They aren't showing any new signs of nute burn. The leaf tips were already that way.

The General Hydroponics nute chart, starts decreasing the amounts of N from Mid Bloom and by Ripen they are only getting whatever N that's contained in the Micro liquid. I've also cut the CalMag+ in half on the last res. change as it's adding N as well.

The Panama is a greater concern as it still has a way to go. The Headroom Incident is close to harvest. :cheesygrinsmiley:
They are conditioned to full strength so it shouldn't be an issue.
Haven't red the GH feed chart in a while, forgot it drops. :thumb:
I burn the tips of mine regularly, just means they are full.
No harm done.
I'm a proponent of full strength nutrients, always have been.
Especially dwc.
Garden is freeken awesome my friend. :yahoo:
Take care. :passitleft:

Thanks Bill,
I have no idea how much is in there.

They have been getting full strength at the reservoir change.
I don't monitor the nute level. I just change it once a week and top up daily with tap water. I am now topping up on morning and afternoon checks.
Adjust for PH if necessary twice a day. Usually once a day adjustment.

Day 66 since flip.

Afternoon check, everything normal.

Topped up res. again today. PH in range after top up.

Morning check, everything running 4.0

The buds are ripening and don't have much longer. I was going to start a fresh water reservoir today but decided to just keep topping up and adjusting the PH. I will just let them continue to use whatever nutes are in the water. Day by day.

Stopping the CO2 bucket in this room.

Pictures from yesterday and today. I left the camera in the room after lights out yesterday.

Headroom Incident
Day 69 since flip

Morning check, everything running normally. The de-humidifier tank had filled and shut off before lights on.
Topped up res., PH in range. 8 Days on "Ripen" reservoir so far.

I've got a lot of foxtailing going on.

Headroom Incident
Day 71 since flip

Morning check, everything running fine.

Running 10 days now on
"Ripen" nutes reservoir. With two times a day top up with tap water and PH check and adjustment if necessary.

PH in now barely dropping in the Headroom Incident, where as the Panama which is still flowering hard, the PH is still dropping between top ups.

Plan is to harvest this week.

Morning check, everything running smoothly.

Yesterday afternoon, I chopped most of the front plant. The rest are still ripening in the straight water.

Most of the front plant has been harvested. I moved the remaining crowded limbs around to give them more light and airflow.

Headroom Incident
Day 2 since harvest.

The plants were fully harvested on day 75 from flip or about day 66 since pistils started showing. The harvest yielded around 100 long stems with both small, medium and large colas. Some are almost completely purple while other phenos are mostly green. They have been rough trimmed and will be fine trimmed at jarring. I will separate the flower by large for smoking, medium?, small(rosin), and fluffy buds and trim for bubble hash(4gal bags).

Harvesting was particularly challenging as we had late notice family come for a visit as I was in the middle of harvest. I managed to clean up, trim, and hang them during times when my presence would not be missed.

I will post more in the next few weeks as I get a better handle on it's taste, smell, and effects. Early cuts are heady and the smell is good. I can't decide what the smell reminds me of, it's pleasant though.

When the buds were jarred. I decided to just separate the buds into smoke and rosin.
I ended up with 7 quart jars of smoking buds and 7 quart jars of rosin buds.
There are seeds. I guess the stress of the early root problems probably caused it. I will wait and see after some time smoking it, if I'll grow it again. It already smells good to me. :cheesygrinsmiley: kinda like candy

Headroom Incident after a week or so in the jars. I just picked one of the smoking jars and dumped it for the picture. :bong:
