High Pressure Areo, Galaxy Hydro 600W LED, WW, GC, BB, 2016

i think the proof is in the puddin. his system is working all the way through to finish as should most well built aero systems.

have fun eh

Thank you brother ! :passitleft:

actually bro, i sent him over here lol.

have fun eh

I did build this. I say that because it didn't seem like you knew that ... For ideas and where I started check out my DIY ..just click the link in my signature .

With led's it's really not about the wattage ..it's about the light intensity . I would raise those lower two plants to be even (the tops)with the tallest one . You want to work on having an even canopy .

I have the 2 lights at staggered heights atm, but your suggestion makes more sense.
thanks!

Sorry no pain I am new to the site getting used posting and sub to journals. I have to say your system is bar none one of the better system built. I like that its simple and if course because it works. Thank you for sharing and answering my questions. M riding this one to the end!! Can't wait to see the harvest!!!

No reason to be sorry at least not one that I can see lol. Thank you for the compliment , when I first started on this journey I'm not going to lie . I had know idea what to expect I just knew that I really wanted to give it a good go . This run is all about figuring out how it works and how to modify it for better results . Come good bad or in different I'm also riding it out until the end and will post whatever it is that happens good or bad . Why ? Because that's why we are here to learn :) . And there really isn't a whole lot of information out there on this type of system . At least none that I could find . Welcome Aboard !

Okay just did a complete flush of the system with Phed ro water with calmag .. Ppm's where climbing due to the reserve water that stays in the bucket a little less than a 1/4 inch of solution... Flushed it until the return water came out with the same ppm value as what was going in . Along with a complete res change :) .. Some pics to come later :) ppm's are 667 and 300 of that is cal mag ...so I'm running 367 ppm's of base nutes ! Seems light doesn't it hehe.

Been looking for a bigger bucket and found what i thought looked ideal... Always looking for a way to grow a bigger hydro single plant 3'x 3' scrog screen...
This HP system has given me some new ideas to test the limits of my SS-315 watt lec... I'll set it up with reflectors like those used my led thread...
Misters as high as they will go in the lid... So they mist a 10" basket starting at the top... Side misters about 6" down... Run it as if it were a hempy, with the drain 6" from the bottom... bubblers in bottom 6" of water so the roots get plenty of oxy.. Could run a separate fresh water flush line if you figured it was needed to flush the bottom water... The water will support the weight of the roots in it, and take that weight off the basket...
The bucket was cheap enough... $14... the shipping would be $56... Nice bucket to look at though..
Well you said you wanted ideas and comments.... Some people say i'm full of it... I always assume they mean ideas and comments...

Glad to hear you found inspiration ! I say run with it ! It is a great bucket , I actually looked at them a couple weeks ago . I have a pool in the back and the bucket that my chlorine tabs come in is close to ideal so I looked on the bottom and found this manufacture . In regards to bucket design I thought about adding a flush tube but right now I like the idea of giving everything in the system a good rinse along with maintaining a minimum amount of water / solution in the bucket . I have thought about making a small cone to go from the bottom of the bucket to the underside of the net cup , to give it support and help spread out the surface area of the roots from top to bottom .

Thank you for you advice and link to the bucket and yes comments and ideas are always welcome ! :)

Was thinking a piece of plastic about 4-5 inches, enough to cover half the bottom of the basket.... Maybe it would encourage more roots to grow out the side of the basket... You could support the basket with a couple rods that go through the sides of the bucket, and under the basket.... like your chop sticks, but inside...

Love the piece of plastic idea ! I didn't even come close to thinking of that +reps !! I did think of the rod idea but on the top of the lid spanning the width if the lid secured by zip ties going through holes drilled for tie down points .

Well here we are one day shy of 5 weeks from flip to 12/12 . Everything seems to be doing well ..did a little cleaning up ( fan leaves ) . I couldn't get the lid up high enough to get a pic of the roots .. Guess we will have to wait until I have a hand or harvest time . Here is some tent porn and bug porn ...in bug porn first up will be green crack and second up is white widow ..soon we will also be featuring blueberry ! Enjoy .

Looking awesome NP! :bravo:

I've ordered my parts and pieces, waiting on them to come in. Planning on using the new system on my clone. If I get results anywhere close to what you're experiencing I'll be a happy camper.

:Namaste:

Thank you . Cool ! If you have what I have and do what I have done with it you should get relatively the same results :). With this type of system one of the biggest pieces of advice I can give you is to start your nute solution out from 1/4 - 1/2 strength recommended for a recirculating system regardless of stage .

I hope you don't mind that I put a link to your DIY in my signature. :adore:

:Namaste:

I do not mind at all ...I take it as a compliment !

Great pics! Like the idea of putting a basket or cone under net pots. From my understanding true aero grows with roots totally floating but who has enough room for that when the roost are known to grow down as much as they grow above ground. So in theory u would need at least ten feet for a five foot plant. Since I haven't seen no one with that kind of room its great to brainstorm with great peoe of 420. I also gonna build your system jus was thinking of something I can put under net pots to help the roots grow natural but yet take full advantage of the aero mist of notes. We will figure it out but wouldn't be this far if it wasn't for NP building this system. Great job!!
