in smaller gauges electrical wires are color coded but once you get to larger wire sizes all wires are black in color but they must be identified by color band inside panels & juction boxes

its called phase tape and the colors are black, red, blue, brown, yellow, orange, white, gray, green

Oh yea that's all TK, he's a brother in the IBEW...I don't buy the stuff, he brings it home. I know it all serves selective purposes rather than just style points...just have never bothered to ask why, so thanks Helpful Henry...always being helpful

So new 5 gl home for Gigi and she is spending the night in the flower tent!

I put her in a pic next to Onyx so you can see just how tall she is at 29 inches already....she is living up to that super tall and spindly structure I was told she would have!! I'm praying she doesn't get to 79 inches because with G at 52, it's tight!
