Lowryder #2 Soil Indoor/Outdoor - 2014

I would of kept the herm and moved it. Lowryders are autoflower so no clones. You could just seperate it or put it inside and have your own seed bank for future season. Even if its a herm and you remove the male nodes your losing to much energy and nodes.....

One thing to keep in mind if you ever do decide to keep seeds from a hermie (someone correct me if im wrong); those seeds with have a genetic tendency to be more prone to hermie themselves. On the upside, all your seeds will be female. Your autos are looking great btw!

That depends.... A hermi discovered before plant is totally maure will make hermi prone seeds most plants will be hermi. If it was a true female that went past maturity then popped balls that is called bolting , the nanners from that are prone to females but also prone to herm as well if conditions are off.

****Day 40****

So we (my plants and I) made it thru the heat wave!! Sacramento actually set a record on Sunday or Monday with 109° F, so that was nice. The Delta Breeze is back and temps are down to normal (mid/high 80s). The plants are doing well. I thought they were done stretching but continue to grow at a respectable pace. Maybe this week they will slow down. Tallest ≈31in. Shortest ≈23in.

Thanks Pittbull72.

I have a small infestation of Powdery Mildew.

I have never dealt with PM, so I researched my options and settled on a 1:10 milk/water solution, sprayed in bright sunlight. I also wiped up the mildew spots showing with a hydrogen peroxide/water solution on a clean rag.

**Question?**

OK for everyone that was mad I cut off the balls to my hermaphrodite, I started a new generation of BC Bud's Lowryder #2 on June 3rd and lo and behold I have two hermies. My question is how much space will the plants need to not pollinate the other plants. We talking other side of the yard? Or anther location? Or could I just keep them in my grow tent although, it does vent air from the tent outside.??

Its my understanding that there is no safe distance. I read somewhere that pollen can travel up to 1/2 mile and the more pollen that reaches a female the more seeds you will get. I know people that keep males outside away from their inside females and don't have a problem. They never visit the girls after being around the males without a good washing and a change of clothes. Overall its a tough call if you don't have any place to quarantine them. Hopefully someone will chime in that has more experience than I do with breeding. All I can tell you is if your gonna keep em around make sure they stay downwind!

Thanks Pittbull72. I am going to try to find them a new home within the next few days. If I can't find one I'll just chop em off.

***Day 55***

So I was able to give my hermies to my awesome Mom. They will be about 19 miles away according to Google maps. The others look good, and smell sweet. Whether they are done in a week, I don't know we shall see. The Powder Mildew has subsided for now. I believe the outbreak was due to poor air circulation. As I have been bringing them inside at night, in a room with no fans. I know rookie mistake, but air flow is more then adequate now.

Yes the only batch I am growing is the Hermie generation. I ran out of funds so I missed this months plantings. But depending on how much you smoke, you can make it with 4-5 plants. As yield goes I got 350 grams from 11 plants. I don't think I did too bad, but have a long way to go to seek my potential. I was going to order BC BUD the Purps and try the Single Cola SOG Hempy style in 2litre bottles for my next grow(seen here) while I wait for the Hermie seeds. Thanks for your support thru out this grow, and because of your help I grew my best crop everaa!

You never gave any cannabis plants to your Mom?! Oh man I gave my mom all my males; she likes the way they look. Had to convince her to take the hermies because they flower. But you are correct. I just called and she says no pollen balls, and she sent some pics just to be sure. I would post but they are in some slide show b.s. message. Man I feel dumb. Thanks
