Prof Goes Guerrilla Growing 2022

Yeah hole To Catch the rain water mate it fill up after a good rain think I found my spot today guna keep walking it make sure noone eyes walking by before I plant
I think that it's a bit too well draining for that where these plants are. Pun intended!

It's tricky finding good spots. There's so much to consider and think about. Every time I finally plant something I start getting feelings of regret like perhaps this wasn't such a good site. I'm happy with battling nature but I really don't want them being discovered by people. That would be annoying as it'll be like going back to square one.
A deer ate @Grandpa Tokin's outside auto:

And it turned out like this:

Of course, between those two pics he moved it into the sun-room!
Nice recovery, Gramps! So should I build a sun room out in the woods?
Geez - maybe I can get a deer to chomp on mine a little!!! :thumb:
Imagine what it would have looked like minus the deer o_O

The only thing that concerns me is that I won't have any weed at the end of the season lol. It's a very real possibility and that's why I'm going mental with it and will just keep putting plants out until July in the hopes that something slips through.
I'll grow a little extra and make a donation if needs be. Loving the effort and keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Just a correction…it wasn’t an auto. That was one of the GG4s I grew for years. “Dingo ate my baby!” :cheesygrinsmiley:
Was that the Grandpa Glue? That always looked and sounded like an awesome cut.
I'll grow a little extra and make a donation if needs be. Loving the effort and keeping my fingers crossed for you.
That's very kind of you, Vet. Hopefully something will survive though. It'd be pretty disappointing if nothing makes it lol.

Hey all. It's a bank holiday and Mrs Flora has been working a lot so I've not been out to the plants since taking those last pics. The next available day for excursions will be Thursday and I'll use that opportunity to give the plants another spray as it's been raining a bit recently. I may even plant a couple more outside as it looks like my friend may be suffering from cold feet in regards to attempting to start a grow. That means we will have to absorb these into the journal....

If he changes his mind then there are always more seeds. These for instance....
IMG_20220427_123320_copy_6000x4500.jpg
thank you @Weed Seeds Express. These will be the final seeds I purchase this year. What we have there is Sirius Black, Chiquita Banana, Original Glue, Stardawg and Fruity Pebbles. Add to that the Godfather OG seeds I already have and we have an even number of WSE fems to hopefully not ruin. We still have some AK 48 autos as well.

The Dutch Passion Frisian plants both popped at the same time and are growing very well as I expected they would. We can probably start the duck hunt already....

I think that this one is the Frisian Duck....
IMG_20220502_090709_copy_1920x1440.jpg

And I think that this one is the Dew....
IMG_20220502_090715_copy_1920x1440.jpg

I could be completely wrong of course but there has been something up with that first one since it first showed it's little head.

We also have a little rooted clone of the short Wedding Cake x Guicy Banger. This one is also a gift to someone who'd like to have a go a growing. She's just pushing through that ugly stage....
IMG_20220502_090720_copy_1920x1440.jpg

I think that it's time to pop some more seeds. Catch you all shortly.
:passitleft:

Do you take clones before setting them out? Be a shame to have only one shot at each seed, especially given the uncontrollable environment they're going into.
I know what you mean and I tried that before when I was growing indoors. Problem is that I'm limited with space and I really like the variety. I did intend to clone the Frisian Duck for its stealth traits but I might do a couple more if I like any that I see.

"Yes, It is a cut from the original GG#4. It won Nug of the year in my avatar. Very good stuff"

I couldn't respond to that post Mr Tokin but I remember feeling quite jealous of the Grandpa Glue back when I joined lol.

The next autos will be....

Let's see if we can make anything of these. I went with all 5 so fingers crossed.

The Dutch Passion seedlings are growing rapidly. I'm pretty certain now that the duck is on the left....

Could still be wrong but I don't think so.
:passitleft:

Nice collection of little ladies Prof, keep this up and you’ll have the whole uk country side covered in plants!
We can only hope lol.

Here's another 6. We have one each of the WSE strains and I will try and clone them like Azimuth said yesterday.
IMG_20220504_114345.jpg

You're supposed to take them out of the package before you get them wet. Increases your germination rate for sure!
I'd best bookmark this piece of advice lol.

Hey 420.

It's been a little while but that is the nature of the beast with guerilla growing. We do have plenty of good news in this update though. First though we should get all the bad news out of the way. It would seem that we won't be getting any early harvests using the autos as they have all been eaten. I thought that this might happen so it's not really a shock. I've put some more out in pots in a different location, these will be the final attempt with any autoflowers this year.....
IMG_20220526_103005_copy_6000x4500.jpg

There's two in that pic and here is the third....
IMG_20220526_102939_copy_4500x6000.jpg

It's getting warmer here now and the plants are exploding into life. I'll probably loose these 3 to the brambles lol. I'll be cutting them out if they make it to harvest.

Next up we have the Frisian Dew and the Frisian Duck. Remember when I said I was pretty sure which plant was which. Well, I was wrong lol....
IMG_20220526_091135_copy_6000x4500.jpg

The Duck is on the right and was put outside today with the Dew but not before I took a cutting from each....
IMG_20220522_084804_copy_6000x4500.jpg

The Dew looks like a normal cannabis plant but is very fast growing. The Duck has the webbed foot look to the leaves. Both should go a beautiful purple....
IMG_20220526_091135_copy_6000x4500.jpg

Frisian Dew....
IMG_20220522_083427_copy_6000x4500.jpg

Frisian Duck....
IMG_20220522_083438_copy_6000x4500.jpg
IMG_20220522_083504_copy_6000x4500.jpg

Today I went out to the old place where the autos were as the ground is already prepared from the previous attempts.....
IMG_20220526_103828_copy_6000x4500.jpg
IMG_20220526_103835_copy_6000x4500.jpg
IMG_20220526_103832_copy_6000x4500.jpg

Hopefully they'll get a better head start than the previous plants. These two are growing fast so hopefully they will be alright.

While I was out I thought I'd go and see how the photos were doing. They're over there somewhere....
IMG_20220526_120943_copy_6000x4500.jpg

I had a bad feeling about them as I keep seeing deer everywhere. When I first got to the site I couldn't find the plants so I just assumed that they had been eaten. Everything has grown since I was last here and the area looks different. I sat down for a break and saw this which made me quite happy....
IMG_20220526_105040_copy_6000x4500.jpg

IMG_20220526_105047_copy_6000x4500.jpg

That is the Godfather OG from WSE! Then I found the Wedding Cake x Guicy Banger #1....
IMG_20220526_105053_copy_6000x4500.jpg

I thought that the other two must be dead but I found then as well. They're not in as good condition as the first two but are still growing and could still produce a decent plant. The Wedding Cake x Guicy Banger #2 only has one growth tip remaining....
IMG_20220526_105021_copy_6000x4500.jpg

The Black Banana TK has faired the worst but it too is still going. It was actually torn from the ground and left across from where she was originally planted. It appears to have re-rooted itself and is growing again lol. I covered it in ferns to try and give it a bit of helping hand....
IMG_20220526_105141_copy_6000x4500.jpg

Not sure if that'll help but you never know.
I'm really happy to see those first two growing especially after the disappointing start with the autos. My next plan is to get some neem to spray the plants and hope that offers some protection from the bugs. Do deer like neem oil? I read that you can mix it with chilli for maximum effect which I think I will do.
Soon I'll do an update on the new WSE strains which will be going out next but for now it's happy growing.
:passitleft:

Good to see those photos flourishing! They should give you a nice haul, fingers crossed for the latest round of autos!
Cheers, N!

At this point those autos are just bonus buds (if they survive). I'm pretty sure that I left them for too long before putting them out. I still have 7 more photos to go out which I'm focusing most of my energy on now.
That duckfoot plant seems like it would b a great stealth variety since many people wouldn't properly recognize it for what it truly is!
I completely agree. I had a good look around for something visibly stealthy and this was my best option. I really liked the idea of getting hold of some Australian Bastard Cannabis and crossing it to make some seeds but it's really hard to get hold of. CSI Humboldt is the only place I've seen it and it's out of stock. Plus I don't think that they ship out of the States.
The Duck is also a mildly scented plant which should help keep her under the radar.
Congrats on getting some of the plants through to the end-ish of May!
We fucking did it! :high-five:
Love the view from the garden!
Not too shabby eh. It's a pain in the ass scaling that with a rucksack of gardening goodies.
suggest using the chef's hats rather than black pots since it's the only black thing there.
See, I thought the opposite. The chef hats are a brilliant white or at least were. The black pots (to my eyes at least) seem to blend in a little better. I did think about cutting the yellow rim off of the the pots but decided against it as they are really low in the undergrowth. Those (non cannabis) plants will likely engulf the little pots and we won't see them again until the end.
