Ok good deal, what exactly about the hps makes the plant boom so much in growth?

Wow. Funny how it's a smaller bulb than the mh but will do more damage. Can't judge a bulb by its uhh....bulb cover.

The light is more focused, a plant directly under a hps will be a beast.

I think I'd be going full BEAST MODE at this point.

Looks like PLENTY of room in there and he's LST'd very effectively so they are nice n low.

Is there any reason for him to hold back at all?

Look at the room he's got in the tent!

Hey professor, can you re-take this photo with the larger ladies inside?

Maybe even from a lower perspective with the camera a bit closer to the floor but still showing top to bottom of tent.

Yes indeed they are nice and low, I'd say only about 8 in tall at max. Let me finish tilling this row in my garden and I'll shoot inside and snap a pic

The only thing that I'd be hesitant about is that being tied down may keep the canopy spread out better

More light and airflow around all your buds after things fill in.

Are you afraid the plant ties will cut into her if you leave them on too long?

I'm just not sure I'd remove them until stretching is complete... and only then if the plant has become "woody" enough to not spring back to the center.

Yeah I guess my concern is some of that, but I mess with them so much and have so much leeway I guess that could never happen, I suppose the only reason I wanna cut em loose is because I wanna see em feel like they're getting bigger. Mainly impatience.

Completely agree.

I can't imagine what you'd gain anyway. I don't believe the restraints are slowing growth so why let the canopy spring out of control now?

Good point on that one. I was just wondering the same thing. That's why I retied my girls down when I put them in there a new pots. I'm glad I made the choice I did :)
