Keeping an eye on the trichomes. Found one bud that had many amber. Most tops still only showing milky. Two weeks to estimated harvest.

Yet to finish properly is the dry and cure. To me the buds never feel dry when they are all sticky. Instinct says to hang for 3 to 4 days and jar 'em up. This part makes me nervous.

It's super easy! You will need to hang them, let them dry a little and jar them. I got a little hygrometer for like $2 at canadian tire, it fits perfectly in a mason jar. Made it easy to know when to stop burping and then the cure was on!

Res change tonight. Snapped some photos of the ladies solo in the tent and some fine buds stepped forward to be shown to the world.
One more res change then perhaps a flush. Almost ready to reap the harvest.

A couple of nugget samples. They were dried for 4 days and have stabilized at 62% rh now for 5 days in jar. All hay aroma has departed. When the jar is first opened, smells like lemon.

This single seed came from the small nugget.
Talk about a surprise. Now I am concerned. Unless it was an immaculate conception, a naner has snuck in somewhere. And this seed appears mature. Wow!

Your assessment is correct that this occurs often with bagseed. Ever since the seed popped out of my grinder I have been reading up on this phenomenon. It is hard to believe with as much as I sit and stare at these plants that I would not see any nanners. And as far as stressing the plants, there is no stress here. Today is day 58 since pistols appeared. Working week 9. Trichomes are mostly cloudy, some clear on newer buds, some amber on the more mature tops. It would not be a loss to harvest now but might as well go ahead and give them the full two more weeks sooner if more amber appears. Any other bananas or buds growing seeds cannot be stopped at this stage. But now at least I can perpetuate my first grow for I have one seed....lol. Nope! Next grow is 2 autos, blue mystic and northern light. No bag seed here for a bit. Thank you.

Maintaining a close eye on the maturation of these ladies trichomes. Continuing to see more amber. And the cloudy trichs really get white. We may be under two weeks now until harvest.

Whilst the ladies were out and about being examined for amber trichomes a photo shoot came about.
These ladies should be ready in less than two weeks. An 8/3 to 8/5 flush with a harvest on that Saturday.

It has been heard that the last two weeks can show the biggest growth/fattening of the buds. Not sure how much more plump these babies can get. The trichomes will tell me when they will be ready. Can't be past my eta of harvest after a two day flush on 8/5. A few nice shots from tonight.

Tonight's res change may have been the last before a flush and harvest. An amber search was performed and in almost all shots amber was present. One more week and that should just be about right. Here are some trichome shots. And you know the ladies posed while out of the tent, photos to follow.
