420 Magazine Sponsor Showoff With Dope Seeds, Bomb Seeds, Homegrown, Budget LED, PhotonTek & Gorilla

Yes, this is likely exactly what happened.

Actually, I think he got to the 2L while he was being treated for the UTI and the prostate issue. By the time he got to the hospital and was catheterized, it had accumulated to the 2L

With COVID, it's impossible to be there in person and I had requested numerous times for the doctor to call (he never did!). My Mom ended up getting to speak with the doctor ONLY because she was on the phone with my Dad when the doctor walked into the room, but I agree 420% that it's the best place to get the info!

Thanks for everything, Tra!:thanks:
Oh well that sounds much better, a patient getting to 2L in retention while in a hossy bed is negligent, well I think it is.

Yeah I know. We talk about it at work. We are so under the pump at the moment with just the norm how your hospitals are coping with the addition of the weight covid brings is unimaginable to me.

Anyway I’m sending you a big cyber hug

And omg my mulberry tree died!

DAY #33 IN 4'X4' MAIN TENT / DAY #3 IN GORILLA 2'X4'

I know, I know....it's been too long since my last update, again. I am trying and, while I'm never overwhelmed, I have been more than sufficiently "whelmed" with everything going on! Big apologies to all my Grow Bro's & Sis's whose journals I haven't visited in weeks! I will get there ASAP! :sorry:

The girls on this grow have probably received less attention than I've given to any prior grow and I'm thankful for the @GeoFlora Nutrients which really have made it easy to get away with. I just make sure to feed them every couple of weeks and make sure the pots don't get too dry, and they've been doing great being left alone, for the most part. :thumb:

The Gorilla Bomb is still showing some Mag deficiency, but has really turned into a Monster and is busting out of the tent. The Ice Bomb has caught up enough that it made sense to finally flip the 2'x4' Gorilla Grow Tent to bloom on Saturday, really making Sunday their first day of 12/12 since they were on a 24/0 schedule before then.

Here's a shot of the 2'x4 with the Gorilla Bomb on the left and Ice Bomb on the right:

Here's a view of the Gorilla Bomb's canopy:

And, a couple of pics of the Ice Bomb which is now a respectable size and should be able to yield 3+ z's:

Moving over to the main tent, things are looking pretty nice. The top colas on the Amnesia are close to 5 1/2 feet off the floor and the girls are all starting to show some trichomes. I did just start a couple more plants in the small Mom/Veg tent which uses the ventilation from the main tent, and temps got a pretty high for a couple of days since forgot to turn up the fan speed when I turned the veg light back on in that tent, but the plants handled it fine, with only some slight leaf curl on a few of the colas.

Here are a couple of full tent pics:

And, here are the bud pics:

I do need to get in there and clean up the lower canopy and I'm hoping to find some time this week to get it done. Of course, with everything on 12/12 now, instead of 24/0, it leaves me even less time to get anything done.

Hope everyone stays happy, healthy & high!

Happy Harvests!

K

Thanks for the hug - I needed it!

What happened to your Mulberry? If I can find some time, I'll post some pics of mine which is absolutely loaded with berries.

The growing is about the best thing I've got going these days, Brother! :D
I'm a bit jelly, at least you have that :cheer:

It would be a dream come true to grow myself, however I sacrifice that for you guys :Namaste:

I’m glad. I have that PD info. I’ll just cut and paste the parts I think you will find interesting

My mulberry is faaaked - that’s Aussie for fucked!

Why do you hurt me with your mulberry success? That’s the equivalent to telling a heart broken person, that you have so much love you are absolutely loaded with it!

Ive never grown a mulberry. I think it’s in the wrong spot. I’ll have a look today. Maybe it can be saved.

Mr. Krip I really miss you here. And I don’t mean to threaten you, but if you don’t post more I will ask the 420 Head Honcho to ban you. I can’t have this flitting in and flitting out at your leisure. I need at least 3 visits per week. I’ve recently posted my total yield amount from Grow 2 and not even a good girl from you! I remember the good old days when my half arsed growing impressed you. Now nothing. You‘ve changed brah, you used to be about the grow. Now you’re all about being a good son and caring for your parents and running your business and enduring covid. What about me?!

Yup! I got the interpretation! :thumb:

You seem like the kinda girl that likes a little torture! ;) Actually, I'm just surprised because we're both in basically subtropical zones and Mulberry would probably be one of the top trees I'd recommend growing here. Very quick to produce fruit from cutting, the Everbearing basically has some fruit most of the year, and they product heavy from spring to fall. I don't water or really even fertilize. I use heavy mulch and put some compost around it once a year. I also "chop & drop" the harvested banana trunks & leaves and other stuff for natural mulch and it does great.
Mr. Krip I really miss you here.
I miss you, too! I'm hoping things get back to at least somewhat "normal" soon.

I'm pretty sure that's already been considered!

Sorry, Tra! I just didn't see it but will check out your journal later today - I promise! Great job in anticipation of what I'm going to find! :bravo::high-five:

Don't be silly! Your half arsed growing still impresses me!

Admittedly, my priorities have all been screwed up. I went to see a psychiatrist and told her I thought I might be schizophrenic and she wanted to charge me a group rate, so I didn't go. I called another and told her I was feeling suicidal but she wanted to charge me in advance, and I didn't want to do that, either, so basically, I'm just trying to work it out on my own, at this point. I'll get my priorities straight, soon!:rofl::rofl:

NOTE: ALL of that last reply is intended to be a joke! Please, no one be concerned that I'm actually schizophrenic or suicidal! :thanks:

Hello :)

Well I’m glad you’re back.

So yeah yeah mulberries are so easy to grow blah blah we live in similar climates mine is awesome and packed with fruit. Again why do you hurt me? While a little bit of S&M is good for the soul, this blatant mulberry cruelty is hurting my heart.

What should I do?

On to happier news, I literally grew this bridal veil I think is called from this. Oh and don’t worry, I’ve not got hepatitis. I instant tanned myself last night and got tanner on my hand.

Well hey there Mr krip, Long time no see. I think I made it right on time, seeing all the bud porn now. I might be late but I'm here!

I went through and got caught up on your updates, what a wonderful bunch of sponsors you have all bunched into one journal, I love it. I've been seeing a lot of sponsor activity since my return a few weeks ago and I'm really impressed. I see we've lost a few and gained a few.

Sorry to hear about your dad and brother. I see you had a recent update on your dad, glad to hear you got his spirits back on track after things got worse for him, I wish the best for him. I didn't see an update on your brother's surgery, or maybe I was reading over the updates too fast. How did he make out? They get all that nasty lung cancer? Crazy how he's not a smoker and still got it hey, possibly a cancer that runs in the family?

I see you're pretty swamped on your neck of the woods lately so I'll let.you get back to things and enjoy watching the rest of this sponsored grow. You take care my friend!

What season is it there in Aussieland? The Mulberries are deciduous so they tend to drop their leaves in the fall/winter and put them back on in early spring. Also, they want full sun but can take partial shade. Is it getting enough (it looks like it may be a little shaded out where it is, but that may not actually be the case). Nice job on the Bridal Veil. I don't know too much about plants that aren't either edible or smokable!

Hey, Brother! Good to see you and never too late here! :high-five:

Thanks for asking...I was trying not to keep bringing up the personal stuff so I don't keep bringing down the intended tone of this journal, which is supposed to be a happy place.

My Brother is doing good, health-wise. He was released from the hospital after a couple of days to recover at home. They believe they got everything and just want to monitor him regularly. He's feeling much better but still has some pain & coughing. No cancer running in the family. :dude-knocking:

My Dad is still in Rehab and they're "planning" on releasing him a week from Friday. He's doing much better and is starting to be able to stand himself (with three nurses "spotting" him in case he falls!) and he doesn't feel ready to go home, yet, so we'll see how he does over the next week. He may need to be there a little longer than they're planning, but we're all hopeful that he will actually make it home which is a marked improvement from even just a week ago.

Glad to see you back!

@Mr. Krip That's all good news, I don't know why you'd think you were bringing down the tone of anything. You have been a member a long time and a big part of this community, people really do care, at least I do, so I don't think anyone minds my friend.

Great to hear your brother has had a good recovery, well wishes to him and hopes that it doesn't come knocking again.

Same for your father, glad he has progressed in the right direction. Sometimes it can be hard getting a lot of those functions back after falling ill and he seems like a real trooper. Hopefully he could progress to a walker of sorts or cane to help him around better.

Anyways, everything is looking awesome over here brother and I hope you get some rest and time to do the things you enjoy. Always great seeing familiar people on here, I'll be popping in regularly to keep up. Take care!

Hey hey :)

Its Autumn here or fall as you weirdos call it.

Just emailed that info. Hopefully there will be at least one learning opportunity. I’m a medical nurse, so my patient admit is diverse to say the least. This means I don’t specialise in any one area. That particular education has forever changed how I nurse those who suffer with PD.

@Mr. Krip

Sending good vibes and hoping the best.

All caught up and I have had rockier starts, that's for sure.

You sure are growing a lovely selection of strains. I hope the Amnesia stays short with minimal stretch.
