Looking mighty fine.. Congrats on the switch to LED...

As an ex cfl grower, is it a major growth change, with the new leds ??... I should imagine things happen alot quicker now

How you liking the led so far?

Ok, all this talk about light height and such, has left me scratching my head. After all the talk, what height are your lights now b?

I like the light so far. the only problem is I'm used to bigger sprouts by week 2. I forgot that starting them on the windowsill during winter will leave me with smallish sprouts. I really hope they take off now

my plants are about 8" away from the light now.

Glad you are enjoying the led. I wonder if it is worth using a few cfls for the first week or two while they are very small, then moving them under Led once they hit rapid growth?

not really, but I made better stands cause I got my game cases all wet :/ now they're between 10 and 11 inches. the plants have been in there for over a week and aren't showing any bleaching. snow white is extremely close. please ask shiva to bless my garden with proper growth and guidance from sprout till smoke.

You mentioned in BlackPolo' s journal that yours aren't doing well. What's up?

just not seeing good growth. I moved them to 12" away, but I'm tempted to shut the leds and run a few cfls for a couple days. I remember keeping my 150 watt hps 6" away from my plants with great results, but usually ran 8-12"away. no idea why I went to 6" away on the leds. I think that was a bad move. hid light is more intense than led light yet can be kept closer? it could be something totally different than the light, I don't know.

I kind of blinked on the 6 inches. I think you need the LEDs at 18 inches (lowest possible) for the different wave lengths to mix properly for them. CFLs at 1 inch, LEDs at 18 for waves...
