It's time for the net again, growing into the lamps again.

Thanks Buddy,
Pain in the ass, will never go past planned flower again, two weeks is a killer.
Overall they look ok, just too much trash, did some trim today but need a shit load more.

Pulled these from under the T5 today to water them. I cannot believe that they are still trying to revert back to veg. It has been about 20 days since I retrieved them from my helper, he had them for 24 days. For 14 days he had them under CFL's and just misted them, he put them in his flower tent for 10 days, said they just weren't growing.
But when I got them home I put them under 24/7 using veg nutes. Have gotten good root system, I should transplant them soon. I would like to get them vegging big time and trying to revert back to veg. May transplant this coming Monday and put them under my SS400 LED.

They are branching like a Monster Crop plant and that is OK, because I want them for more clones anyway.

I hope I didn't fuck anything up but I pulled the ladies from the tent yesterday morning for a couple of hours this morning to do a trim. They were just way too thick, bud sites totally blocked by overgrowth.
I am a day short of 5 weeks and we shall see how it turns out.

This weekend I transplanted 5 of the 13 clones into coco 1 gallon Smart Pots. These will be vegged for around 5 weeks while their mothers finish in the flower tent. Upon harvest, the mothers they will be dried and tested to chose the two best pheno's, baste on flavor, aroma, high, and plant structure. The chosen two plant clones will be harvested an the clones put in a yet to be built EZ Cloner and rooted. They will then go into at least a 16 plant SOG.
They will be topped multiple times to create as many clones as possible for the start of the winter 19' grow. They have been in Red Solo cups for a few weeks now and are really ready to go into the SP's.

First fill pots lightly compacted. Then watered with around 2 gallons/pot of a solution of lite nutes 0.75 EC, Rapid Start, Sub Culture II Mycorrhizol Root Inculcation and pH'ed to 5.8. This is to flush the fresh coco and prepare the coco to accept the clone.

Then dig a hole in the coco and place a solo cup in the center and compact around it, adding what is needed to bring the coco to the level of the coco in the transplant.

The reason for compacting around the solo is to prepare it to except the clone from a solo cup. It excepts the clone from the solo without having to do much but add a bit of coco to around an inch above the original coco line. This is what the SP looks like just prior to transplant.

I would say that they were ready for transplanting. It is sprinkled with Great White prior to going in the pots that are also treated with GW.

It was then transplanted and watered with the same solution the coco pots were soaked with prior to transplanting.

Another clone taken from the solo's and transplanted. And so on and so on!

Taken advantage to the almost 80 degree temps.

Few shots of what will be the mothers of each pheno, as stated will choose the best two, growth, taste and stonier effect.

There were transplant from Red Solo's on 12/2 and this pic is from 12/6, not bad root growth for 4 days. Gotta love Great White!

Here are a few from this morning right after lights out.

Taking shape and should begin to thicken these next three weeks then the ripening stage for at least a week. Going to bump up my EC, was running 1.5 plus till this week with the KoolBloom and without the KB it went to 1.25, will be increasing A&B to 500 to 550 ppm tomorrow with new rez fill. In the morning at the 7:30 AM cycle I will run it manual and add Great White, pump all I can get from the rez, sort of a mini flush. Then do a rez cleanup and refill with around 1.45 to 1.5 EC solution.
The color is great, not overly dark so not giving to much N, but will monitor it this week to see if I need to back off the N some. Need it to fatten the ladies up, the only kind of fat ladies I like, LOL. Actually one of my favorite ladies on this planet is a BBW, both body and soul.
With this last training session the plants are keeping away from the lamps, they are about 8 inches from the lamps themselves. Just turned the bottom fan up to speed 2 and all is good. Don't think I will need to take them out of the tent till maybe later next week or weekend.

They are filling out nicely, buds are tightening up well and the fragrance is very pleasant and sweet smelling. Looks like it is going to make some nice medicine.

Ladies are drinking well, just as I like my women to be.
icon_smile.gif

Around 3 gallon a day with a total DTW of 1 gallon per day.
there was about 2 gallons left in the rez and I just refilled the rez with RO, after adding 16 gallon that presents a starting 161 ppm. Once all the nutes have been added was @ 681 ppm.
Rez should last about 5 days and at that point there should be about two gallon remaining to which I will add Great White an Subculture II to hand water the 5 plants. Will do that at the last watering of the cycle at 7:30 AM so the roots will have that to absorb for the 13 plus hrs prior to lights on at 9 PM. This has worked well for me prior to each rez refill, and will do it up to the last week of flower.
I will begin adding dry KoolBloom at the next refill on Friday morning Day 51 and run that for around 5 days, that should put me at day 56 or 8 weeks of flower. Then the final couple of rez fills will be for flushing with very low ppm (just a small amt of Cal/Magic) to get the solution to accept the pH solution. Then harvest between days 66 and 70 during the week of Jan 7.
That allows for another three weeks for the mothers to produce the clones for the next grow. Plan on taking the clones at the end of the month, put them in the new cloning machine for 10 to 15 days. Then they will go into one gallon coco smart pots, veg in the tent for a week or so, to establish the root system, heavy on the Great White and Subculture II. Then start the next grow, hopefully get a 25 plant SOG out the these clones. Here's the new Cloning machine. Hope to get a minimum of 30 clones to chose from.

Still have a few thing to do, manifold is built but need to install the red EZ Clone nozzles. Am still trying to find the proper drill and tap size. I did a test with an 11/32 drill bit, could not get the nozzles in. So I am thinking maybe a 3/8" bit. Could use some help here ladies and gents.

We, my son and I, are loading up to head to the Panhandle of Florida to cook and serve hot meals to anyone in need of one.
This was my son's idea, he did the same during Harvey and when he said he was headed to Florida I said I am in, let's rock this place. I have found us a location that we can serve two towns only miles apart separated by the Apalachicola River, in an area with very little services.
We have been told that there are very scattered hot meals, mostly cold sandwiches. We want to bring warmth and love to those folks who are in dire need!

I contacted a friend who will attend to my garden while I am away, not sure how long, till we run out of food or money.

So today I did a major defo and a hand watering with some Great White added. My rez was fairly empty so I ran is as a flush to empty the tank and refill the rez and made up another 40 gallons for my friend to add as needed. He will come once a day to check and adjust the pH as needed.

Got pic's but no time to post so I will do so when I return.
Will be checking in to give update on our adventure.

Bravo for trying to feed people, I work for 2 community kitchens here in our town - there are many news articles about Florida having passed laws - making it illegal to feed homeless people, particularly in Fr. Lauderdale .. arrests have been made so be careful!

Wow amazing grow, this is the first time I've heard of vertical growing, but this is only my 2nd grow. My first grow I did use bare bulbs, as I had no reflector housing for the bulbs, just a socket - it worked out fine, but thought how much more focused the light would be with a housing, but you proved that NOT to be an issue. Thanks for that, one again - Amazin' Grow!

Some of our most loyal supporters were law enforcement and first responders. I had contacted the county emergency management prior to our arrival and we were welcome there.

Completed the manifold, great spray pattern. Will try an post a video when I put water in the tote again.

Update:
Week 7, day 49 of 12/12

Cruise control, just add one round of Dry KoolBloom @ 1.25 grams per gallon. That took my EC from around 1.3 + to just under 1.4. I can live with that. This will only run for 4 days or so, then flush with 1.0 solution till the EC of the rinsate is around 1.0. That should happen around day 53 then I will begin diluting the solution till final flush.
