Well as they say folks, that's us :)

couldn't be happier with this grow, first time going organic after years growing in salt and honestly im kinda loving it. I'll stretch it and go as far as to say that i'm getting better results this way compared to previous grows.

I don't know why i'm so drawn to it but, something about this feels natural, like this is how i wanna do it and honestly i can't see myself going back.

Thank you all for the continuous love and support :circle-of-love:

keep medicating, :peace: N'

Wow bro, just georgeous,, not sure if there is nicer looking plants out there anywhere in 420land,, very well done,, the only thing seperating your soil and mine is the worm castings,, i have a compost outside and I 'ordered' the worms to get a move on,, shoulda heard em, sissies,, but it's cold out,, nooooo, sissies,,

Found an alternate supply of castings at a nursery near here,, ha:high-five:

:Namaste:

It was the conversation here, between Dr Ziggy and others, about reduced flowering light hours, conveniently timed with now having more sativa than indica on the room, that gave me the final prod over the edge into starting to crank back the timer. I had been plotting this for years as I mentioned, but didn't think it would work out well for the indicas. I had a Pineapple Chunk in there, which last I checked is indica dominant, it was about 4 weeks from harvest I think when I started reducing the lighting times.
When I dragged that girl out into daylight for the first time I was pleasantly shocked at the amazing colors that had come out in her. The daylight was pretty dim as it was almost dark outside, so the pictures ended up being a bit blurry unfortunately. I won't bomb this journal with them, but there are a couple pics on the POTM thread and the eye candy one. Anyway, the blues and purples that came out in this plant were far brighter than I have ever seen before, and I've been flowering this same pheno for about ten months now, with about ten harvests of it. It usually has some nice blue coloration, but nothing like this.
I don't know how to account for the colors. There have been some changes in the grow, as always. This is the first time I used silica all the way through. I can't think of much else that could have caused it other than the lighting change. It's possible that night time temps dropped a bit because it's winter. I don't think so, as I've got a dehumidifier in there that keeps things pretty warm at night. And I was flowering this plant last winter as well. I am doing a better job of it than I was then, so maybe it's just increased health that led to the change. Maybe, maybe...
Do any of you guys think that the lighting change is a likely suspect? Googling it didn't seem to support that...

Nice flowers forming!

:thanks: waknbak :) can't wait for the bud sights :laughtwo:

you're too kind brother :Namaste:

i'm glad everything worked out with the worm castings, i too struggle to find good soil material where i live .

:passitleft: :circle-of-love:

Healthy, beautiful green leaves. Like how your canopy is pretty even....not that easy when growing multiple strains. Getting into the payoff stage now. Really nice gardening. :thumb:

thank you my friend, you're too kind :Namaste:

yeah i try to keep it even, gonna defol after week 4 to give that extra swell boost on the buds. What surprises me the most is how the tallest plant in the tent is the white widow, that pheno is making me regret the fact i don't keep clones.

definitely the light my friend. Google aint gonna be of much help as this information isnt around for too long and is definitely not a general knowledge. I take part in other communities outside of 420mag and let me tell you that no other site comes even close to our kind of education in here. Most forums are like textbook grows, no imagination no testing, just your usual urban grow.

if you want to research deeper into the subject i'd suggest DJ Short's - Cultivating Exceptional Cannabis

oh and btw thank you for not photo-bombing, thats very considerate and i appreciate that :)
:Namaste:

Thanks. And thanks for the tip on the DJ Short info. I'll check that out. If you're right about this, this is really amazing! It's given me a whole new interest in the Pineapple Chunk. It's a super dank strain but I was getting a bit bored. That last plant was the prettiest plant I've grown. Maybe now I can have style and substance. :thumb:

Glorious garden Brother! Healthy strong and beautiful. Just like you, once I caught the organic grow bug I've never looked back. It's so freeing not to be reliant on anything but nature. No one ever goes back to bottled nutes once they go organic.

Once I learned to create and maintain an SFW my nutrient problems were a thing of the past. Nothing but beautiful healthy trouble free plants.

I'm so happy when another grower finds the same truth for themselves. The only thing I go to the grow store for now is grow bags and perlite lol.

I feel blessed to be able to follow along and watch you grow before my eyes (in more than 1 sense of the word). There are many different techniques and methods to organic growing, If I can help with anything just let me know brother!

Peace and love.........

You already know what Im going to say so Ill just use sign language :yummy::clap::passitleft:

hey don't mention it :)

honestly it's one of the best books about cannabis growing to me and you gonna find it really intresting. You most of all have the perfect garden to test out any kind of crazy theories, i mean you've been growing the same strains medically for so long now, and any little change you make you gonna see immediate results :)

its like you have the best lab brother, just go for it :high-five:

Just gorgeous brother. Keep it up.
