Got home from work this morn and went to check on Jezebel. I think she has something going on but I'm not sure what. Rh was running low about 35% any ideas???

Have you been keeping an eye on your runoff pH? I dont have firsthand experience with it, but from what ive read, twisted new growth could be molybdenum or boron deficiency, your nute bottles might say if they contain either of these, if the ones youre using dont have it, that may be the issue.

I think she's getting ready to flower, my plants went from broad leaves to much thinner ones just before preflower... They are the same strain, this is only my opinion on that grnarly leaves. I'd say wait it out a couple days. (also keep an eye on the drooping to see if it gets worse) heat stress can cause twisting leaves aswell.

Be patient, KIG :green_heart:cheers

after referring to a book, a Zinc deficiency may be more likely as you dont appear to have any grey necrosis for boron def or any yellow leaves in the middle for Molybdenum def either, however;

ZINC (ZN)

Zinc deficiency occurs occasionally.
Symptoms
New growth has radically twisted leaf blades. Zn deficiencies are identifiable by spotting, chlorosis, and yellowing between the veins of older leaves. Inter-veinal yellowing is often accompanied by overall paleness.

(shortened)

Zn is not mobile in plants, so symptoms occur mainly in the newer growth.

so again, no spotting or chlorosis, but it is heavily affecting the new growth and they are rather radically twisted, though im not sure there is a definitive guide for what "radical twisting" is hahaha

if you tested the pH and are in range 6.3-6.8 then i'd lean towards this, but there may be a simple answer..
With all that training you've done there is a lot of growth happening all at once, so it could just be that your plant is actually growing faster than is natural for it and the new growth hasnt quite had a chance to harden before unfurling? just a thought, i have no evidence to support this theory.

Thanx kingsnake tonight she looks much better cranked humidity up. I think from letting her dry out too much and the lower humidity level. She has been pretty pungent but much better tonight. I read that they will get stronger smelling when they are lacking water. Gonna start weighing her daily to help monitor water intake.:420: is such an awesome site and the people here are incredible. Being my first grow it's definitely a learning curve but I have a tendency to get OCD when I start new ventures. Gonna bring her out for some more pics in a little while

OK guys here we go. Started weighing Jezebel to monitor water consumption. Weight 10.65lbs - temp 74deg f - humidity 48%. She looks much healthier tonight. Thought I had some kind of deficiency going on but the way she recovered I'm pretty sure it was a lack of moisture / humidity issue. Thanx snid, kingsnake, and noob :thanks:for chiming in

Not a lot to report had to water this morn didn't get a chance to weigh though. Runoff pH 6.4 temp 76 Rh 48%. Checked Jezebel tonight before work and she's looking good I am pretty sure she is starting to bud

is now the time I change my center light to hps. Do I continue the nutes in the budding cycle. I am stepping into a new venture hope it continues well

It's flowering for sure, what kind of nutrients you using for flower production? and how much light you going to use for flower? :passitleft:

Using fox farm trio for nutes and have a 100w hps fixture to replace my 125w 6500k cfl fixture with. And there is 4-43w 2700k, 4-23w 2700k, and 4-23w 6500k side lights

Very nice, Why don't you run all of those lights you mentioned? If you do it comes out to 575 true watts. With a nice spectrum for a nice happy flower! That's 21.74% 2100k from the HPS, 44.87% 2700k & 37.74% of 6500k I would say that's pretty good my man!!! Tha's if you use all of them. :thumb::passitleft::rollit:

Thanx I will try and fit them all if you look at my light configuration it's gonna be tight adding the hps with the 125w cfl in the middle
