Maybe he figured why bother doing it at home when he can do it all day at work!
It's all about pressure/temp when trying to grow the crystals. If you seed it with a starter Crystal it goes faster than trying to grow them from solution. But it is a slow drawn out process

Some are using a glass jar in the oven but I can't find it now.

That's kinda what i was reading but jar was just over room temp to give the jar pressure. Maybe that's why it took so long as they didn't really heat it just a few degrees about ambient temperature for the pressure.
This guy had it close to boiling and you could watch the crystals falling out.

Sure did but even after 15 min bottom plate were still down about 10 degrees. At work we have a really nice device that lets you calibrate them but i would have to pull the heaters and thermocouples. I'll live with hitting it with my temp gun.
Derby can take all my shake that I have and press it for me lol

Like I said when I come back to grow again I will def be purchasing one .
Gotta look into chemistry. Can do all sorts of goodness - LSD-25 they made crystals from a mold.
