Fudo's Spring Organic Sativa Grow

Looks like you are ready to have an epic grow. Usually I'll put my super soil at the bottom of the pot and utilize amended super soil at the mid, and royal gold at the top. I might just use my super soil straight up moving forward.

Use to utilize green sand religiously, but the cost is out of control right now. Never used Langbeinite, since my soils are usually rocking with natural K. But am always open to any natural ingredients.

Noticed your totes! I just dropped almost $130.00 on six of them---I'll get my money out of them.

Very impressed with how your grow set-up is coming together.
I read something about langbeinite couple yrs ago but was illegal here. I have know idea why. As soon as I could I ordered some and have seen good results. Lots of trace minerals etc, I can’t quite remember. Then I was looking for silica and couldn’t get any so I substituted greensand in its place. Then not so long ago I saw an article about the rev using the combo. I stumbled across it by accident but apparently it’s not a secret lol.

Looks like some serious lighting there! I LOVE sativas so I’ll be here. Growing a Lemon G currently. Easy to grow and loves LST. Good luck and can’t wait to see progression!
Welcome aboard Hayron! This is my 1st experience with real Sativas. Still debating on which LST method. I might go with a net, I’ve never used one before.

My Lemon G did really well when I topped her twice. I let it grow for another 30-40 days before flip and she shot up really quick! Nice node distance to for a sativa. Can’t wait to see how yours goes!

I woke up this morning to good news. 4 for 4. Excellent genetics.
I gingerly planted them in their solo cups of a 3:1.5 ratio of ffof and perlite. Now we wait.

Congrats on that batting average! Still waiting for approval from the inspector though...
She came by today and didn’t seem all that impressed. Like some inspectors I’ve dealt with, I’m not certain she knows what she’s looking at yet.

I may have mentioned before that the cost of Green Sand is out of control and am on the fence about purchasing another bag.

Actually, am doing some exterminator work for my flower shop for store credit, so I'll probably pick up a bag.

What application rates do you apply of green sand in a soil mix? Maybe a pound per hundred rate?

My uncle sold me two bags (50 lb. bags) of rice meal for $30.00, since he failed to order me rice hulls. He claims that once composted it'll increase Silica levels in my soil blends. Anyway at the cost of rice hulls it is worth incorporating in my blends.

My application rate is about 1/3 cup per pot. I use about 1.5-2 cups total amendments per 7-10 gal pot. That’s when it’s new, when I re-amend I use about half that. The langbeinite helps a lot with K in flower.

They all came up. Well actually I had to dig a M.P out and peal her shell off but other then that, we’re off and running. She looks pretty sickly so I dropped another seed.

The one with the damaged cotyledon should be fine, but is the other one wearing its membrane? The cots seem stuck together.
Nailed it Shed. The 1st pic is yesterday at 1pm. And the 2nd is this morning. What I thought was horrible was nothing at all, 1st time I’ve seen that.

It turns out the one I thought least likely to make it is going to be just fine. So I got 1 more M.P in a cup and one more HB still in the towel. The M.P has a little pink spot on her tap root, I’m not sure what to make of this. So far then that makes 2 healthy M.P’s and 1 healthy HB. If that’s how it stays then fine, I’m not germinating any more.

Pretty sure I drowned this poor girl.

One more thing I’m doing a little differently is up potting. I usually go straight to 7’s from the solo cups, but this time I’m going to 3’s 1st. I’m hoping for some stronger root growth to support the long flowering time.

The Hulkberry I thought I drowned has made a full recovery and is praying right along with the others. The 2 leaders have started growing out instead of up and we also have a new born Malawi/Panama. I might keep 5 but not 6. That’s fine because the Hulkberry in the towel probably’s not gonna make it. I didn’t change the towel and I’m thinking it’s funky. So far it’s been a good day.
