Fuel D.OG
Day 15 since flip.

The room is running normally.

The plants are drinking heavily and some moving around on the 2nd screen still going on.

The CO2 bucket still bubbling away.

More flowering evident.

Day 16 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The plants are still drinking heavily and still stretching. I am still tucking and moving things on the 2nd screen. Not very sticky yet.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling away.

I've got two different phenos going. The ones on the back and right are tall with a lot of stretch as advertised.
The one on the left and in front are not getting tall and not much stretch to speak of.

Plants are looking gorgeous as always! It may or may not affect you but starting week 7 of flower I'm starting to see more signs of the beginning of potassium deficiency so upping my ppm to 1100 today (was at 880). If I remember correctly, the site said they were voracious feeders at this time.
Thanks. I will watch them closely for problems during that stage of growth. Be sure and let me know how it goes as you deal with it. I am watching your journal although I sometimes miss stuff. :hmmmm:

Fuel D.OG

No problems in the grow room.
Tomorrow reservoir change.

CO2 bucket on day 6, still bubbling.

The plants are still drinking hard and putting out lots of moisture. The de-humidifier is keeping things dry.

Cut out a little bit of undergrowth that was perpetually shaded.

The grow room is running normally.
The AC and de-humidifier are doing a fine job of keeping a perfect environment going.

Reservoir change today. Added recommended amounts of GH 3 part liquid nutes for 17 gallons in Early Bloom.
Added 60ml Cal-Mag+, PHed to 5-5-6-0. Still in desired range during afternoon check.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling, going on day 7.

The plants are drinking heavily.

Fresh CO2 bucket today.

The plants are drinking heavily and the de-humidifier is taking care of their moisture output, keeping the room in the desired RH range.

The plants are looking healthy. A couple of shoots in the back got really tall.

At 42k lux, your plants are getting a PPFD of about 675µmols. That's a good light level for early veg but cannabis yields increase in an almost linear manner as you provide it more light. On that basis alone, you might want to increase to about 60k lux. Assuming you have a standard "balanced" LED grow light, that will give your plants 900µmols±, which is middle of the range for the light saturation point for cannabis in a non-CO2-enhanced environment.

At your current light level, the output from the CO2 bag is not being used. Unless there's something else not optimal in your grow environment, your grow is limited by the amount of light your giving it.

The graphic below is from a research paper (Google "Chandra") on the impact of temperature, CO2, and PPFD. It shows how net photosynthesis increases as those variables change. We see that net photosynthesis increases as PPFD increases, up to 1500µmols. This graphic deals with net Photosynthesis which is different from yield - the slope for net P rolls off but yield and quality continue to increase as light levels go increase, up to the LSP.

The only info I've seen on light levels in CO2-enhanced environments is a comment that Bugbee made during an interview (I think it was his interview with Dr. Growit) and he said that they run their plants at 1200PPM and 1200µmols. He has also stated, in a few different videos, that they have not found a maximum PPFD that cannabis will sustain - they stopped at 2000µmols.

I understand what you're saying.
I'll have to measure the LUX at the canopy now, it's been a while.
I can grow four runs a season and I always seem to harvest way more than I can use.
I hope to run through day 55 or so at the current power level and then drop the level after that till harvest.
I'll also add another hour of darkness at the same time I drop the power level on the light.
Please follow along and we'll see what happens. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Day 23 since flip.

The grow room is running normally.

The plants seemed to have taken the added Koolbloom without any ill effects. I'll continue to add it to each reservoir change till around day 60 or so.

The CO2 bucket is bubbling away.

The plants are drinking heavily and putting out a lot of moisture. The de-humidifier is keeping the RH in the desired range. This morning was the first time this year, that the de-humidifier's tank filled and the unit shut off before this morning's check. No harm done.

I remembered to measure the light at canopy height. 55k LUX. No changes to height or power level.

The grow room is running normally. The AC, de-humidifier, and fans are doing their job well.
The de-humidifier water tank is now all but filling up twice a day now.

The plants are growing well and drinking heavily.
The CO2 bucket is bubbling away.

The plants in the back and on the right are showing strongly of sativa leaf structure.

The plants are drinking a lot and and looking healthy.

Another rainy day with high rh. The de-humidifier is holding the rh down to acceptable levels.

The plants are still looking good. Starting to get a little bit of trich development.

Still drinking heavily. Enough, that I'm adding enough high PH tap water, that a little PH down is required to keep it in the desired range.

The CO2 bucket is still bubbling strong on day 7.

The plants are looking healthy and budding nicely.

Day 28 since flip.

The grow area is running normally.

The CO2 bucket will be changed tomorrow, it's slowing down, but it's lasted more than a week.

Reservoir change tomorrow.

I'm just adding a lot of high PH tap water every afternoon during the reservoir top up and a small amount PH down to keep it in range as it drops until the next reservoir top up. I check the PH in the morning and in the afternoon a short while after the top up. The PH is staying within acceptable range throughout. I do the same thing in the other grow.

The plants are growing and budding nicely.

Reservoir change today. Added the recommended amounts of GH three part liquid nutes for 17 gallons at Middle Bloom. Added 40ml PH down. Desired range 5.5-6.0. Added 60ml Cal-mag+. During afternoon check, PH was in desired range.
I will wait a couple of days to verify plant health before adding Koolbloom(0-10-10).

CO2 bucket is still bubbling so I will add a new one tomorrow.
