Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

Amazing buds. They look like they've been dipped in trichome syrup. Good looking seeds there too.

Flower Day 87

I have decided to harvest Hindu Kush #3 clone #1 and allow the plant to dry for several days before I sift the shake for any seeds that may have formed.

Hello Colorado High, My Grow Journal and Review is still active. I have had a lower back injury and bad chronic pain period that has prevented me from contributing to 420 Magazine as I normally do. My back is healing and I do hope to return to contributing to 420 Magazine soon.

Seeds and Trichomes
I Have produced hundreds of seeds per plant for equal sized plants using Silver Thiosulfate to produce feminized pollen in past seed production runs in my Seed Cabinet. I believe that the reason for such low seed production was the poor timing when Thrips insects were in the building and I sprayed a pesticide to prevent infestation the spray also prematurely withered the pistils and prevented the majority of pollination.

13 feminized Hindu Kush #3 seeds were produced.

36.8 grams of aromatic, flavorful and potent bud material was also produced.

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

After going through ere again I'm now on the twilight website looking at which light I might want to get. Do you happen to have any information on coverage? I asked them about their 804w spider cob but they said it has a coverage of 2.4m when at 1m height which I fiured couldnt be right.
Trying to work out which light would be best for my 1.5 x 1.5m (basically 5 x 5 feet)

As usual, everything looks great and I have come away a smarter grower

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

I had suggested @Dennise use the Twilight Groups LED Spider 16 COB LED grow light with 60° lenses in a 4'x4' tent equaling 50 watts per square foot, you can check Dennise's Grow Journal and Review as well to see just how well the Twilight Groups LED Spider 16 COB LED grow light does work with 60° lenses! I would use a Twilight Groups LED Spider 16 COB LED grow light with either 60° or 90° lenses in your 5'x5' tent.

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

The pics are so beautiful! That bud material is gorgeous. Congrats on the seeds. I lost the plant I had pollinated with feminized pollen. Dozens and dozens of spongy, underdeveloped seeds. It was heartbreaking! Thankfully, I got 1 viable seed that has turned into a nice little plant. Beautiful job, as always, KingJohn.

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

Thank you so much my friend, I was actually have a conversation with Dennise about the spider series and that is what actually made me come and look through yours again as I remembered it was you who I first saw using the spider series.
Will go and look through her journal again to make my final choice as they are more expensive than my current brand of LED lights but I have heard and seen such good things about the spider series.

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

Hidden I think I would go with the 90 lens cause of the coverage... My Spider16 has the 60 lens and it is almost straight down.... My tent is 4'x4' as King stated and the light literally stops about 1/4 way up the walls of the tent so I'm not sure you would get great coverage in a 5x5 with the 60 lens but I think the 90's would work great....:circle-of-love:

I sure would love to hit your last harvest a couple of time King :adore:....:circle-of-love:

I'm now thinking about things, my current 1200w LEDA light is too big for the small area I currently have it so I think I will take that and place it in my 5 x 5. I will need to add a new light to my current area which is 4 x 2...I think i will get a spider cob for that area...think I could get away with a 432w for that space? I believe the next step up is 540w

Thanks for all the help guys, think spider is the route I'm gonna go down this time!

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

I would use 2x Twilight Groups LED 432 watt Spider COB LED grow lights with 60° lenses for your 4'x 2'x grow area. I believe that 1x Twilight Groups LED 432 watt Spider COB LED grow light with 120° lenses would cover a 2'6"x 2'6" area for vegetative growth very well.

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

Thanks a lot! Getting two is currently out of my price range so I think I will have to wait patiently for a little while until I can get the funds together for two of these badboys. Rather wait and do it right than just rush in and get it wrong.

Once again...thank you!

Edit I had hoped this one would be enough but I cant see their coverage charts spider 540 the room is a funny shape!

Re: KingJohnC's Twilight Groups LED 432W Spider COB Seed Cabinet Grow Journal & Revie

I have the Spider4 in a 2'3" x 2'3" tent with the 120 degree lens and I absolutely love it but I think it would be hard to get the coverage you need without 2 of them... Now if you switched your thinking around and put your current lights in the big tent and the Spider4 in the smaller I think you would be golden.... I think I have your spaces in my head right if not please forgive my post....:circle-of-love:
