Life In The Day Of A Coco Grower

Starting to flush the Sweet Skunk Auto from today, well not really a flush but plain water and the sweet berry for 2 more days and then another 10-14 days with the Grotek Strawberry Flush.

2 Plants are not looking like there finishing anytime soon which are the White Widow and Bruce Banger, the Amnesia looks like I could pull it soon so I may start flushing if the buds below are mature enough.

So my Amnesia Fast and Sweet Skunk Auto have been getting a flush and I had tried a little bit that had dried on the plant and the taste was incredibly different to what I'm usually used too and I'm happy to say the least, next challenge is drying.

I'm planning on getting some of those mylar bags to store my bud with some humidity packs but I don't know how big of bags I would need to store 5oz at a time but I'm sure there will be a chart somewhere.

I did suffer a little with bud rot once again but I've now got a big dehumidifier on during the night now when it was only ever rising so the water that's been coming out has been going straight back in with the flush added.

Since I altered my nutrient schedule the taste has changed considerably but this is based only on a bud that had died on due to stem damage I can't quite say if it was flushed or not but if it did it will have only had 1 or 2 days at most.

Well I totally lost the Sweet Skunk Auto due to rot, I had placed them in a box and cut a long story short it looked like the North Pole the next time I checked them, not to worry though cant be too sad.

The rest have been drying since Monday and are looking well so hopefully be dry around Sunday.

Hopefully I'll be able to scrog the next plants next week as their getting a little big.

Ordered two Mars TSL2000's to go in the other tent, pretty disappointed they have discontinued the SP250's but hey can't complain :).

I plan to put them in there separate tents tomorrow and fit there screens, if they fit the screens perfectly then I think I'll flip them on Monday coming as I'm getting quite pushed for time, I'd like to get these flowered off and another 2 tents full flowered off before Christmas then start all over again on new year's day :).

So 5 White Widow Clones in one tent and 3 White Widow & 3 Critical in the other tent.

I'll be germinating 3 Legandary OG Punch & 3 Sherbet Queen tomorrow and I plan to flower them around the start of October that will give me enough time to flower and dry the current plants.

Well I've got two tents in flower and 3 Big Nugs Fast seedlings.

Starting of with the flowering tents I'm starting week 4 on Monday where from then on I'll be swapping the Ionic Bloom for BioBizz Fish mix and keeping the rest as is.

I did say I wasn't going to trim but I'm going to remove quite a lot of large fan leaves up top causing humidity between each other and this time around I really don't mind if it affects overall yield.

My three seedlings are Big Nugs Fast and I'm running these as the other 5 seeds I was sent didn't germinate at all so it's now put me back at least 3 weeks so I'm hoping the name of these turn out to be true.

I did order Greenleaf Nutes but a month and half later I'm still waiting so I'm going to try stay with the fish mix throughout to help with flavour in the end product, the mute list is as follows:

- Water PPM (60)
- BioBizz Fish Mix (650 PPM)
- Greenleaf Sweet (1g Per Gal/4L)
- Great White Mycorrhizal (1 scoop Per 20L)
- Orca Mycorrhizal (0.5ml Per 1L)

For Harvest Flushing I use Growtek Flavoured/Scented Flush.

They will be going into 16L Square fabric pots and 100% Coco and the same schedule as the one above until my Greenleaf Nutes arrive.

I've suffered massively this year with bud rot, massively disheartening I can assure you all, one tent was harvested at week 5.5 and I've got another that I'm going to split into two tents.

The only White Widow Clone tent had huge buds but for some reason even with the most air movement systems in place it was simply not enough.

One tent left which is the Critical and White Widow, the w/w caught bud rot but I managed to control the spread, well I'm hoping I have but I plan to split them up between the other tent once I've cleaned both extensively, I'd love to be able to get another 4 weeks especially the Critical as that's not had no rot what so ever but if needs be ill but more dehumidifying equipment as these plants have been growing organically since week 2 in flower.

Really bad situation to be in don't you think?,

This setup runs a 4x3 tent
1500cfm Tornado fan @ 50%
New Rhino 6"x600mm filter
2x 6" Clip fans
900ml Dehumidifier Below
500ml Dehumidifier Top

Yet here I am at 77% humidity.

They look good HT. Too bad the bud rot cant be stopped. Doesnt make sense and i know you have done soo much to prevent it and still 70% rh. Its like your growing in the rainforest or something. Good luck bro. Hope you get it figured out one of these days.

Well I've tried the plants I took down and they smell so much better after drying now I'm running organic nutrients, I have a friend some who's having health problems and he said wow what a smell so I'm happy atleast some things are changing.

Running only 3 Big Nugs Fast this time around and only ever 3 plants in flower just until I've got the perfect schedule that helps with the taste.

Well after topping the two Coco plants I think I stunted them by doing it to early so not to worry I suppose.

This is the first time in this big tent under a better light as they've been under a 4 Bar T5 setup and honestly there not the greatest in small tents so we should hopefully see some better growth soon after I add some Co2 bags just as supplementary items.

The centre plant is a BioBozz AllMix and its doing great so I'm happy I've atleast one great plant coming out nicely, there all being fed organic nutrients including organic water conditioners.

I topped at the 3rd node which left me with the first seedling leaves and then the first and second node but unfortunately the first nodes growth hasn't quite caught up or even started properly so I'm hoping this light ensures they atleast start growing,.

So the plan is to run all of them mainlined but it's my first time I will have mainlined properly with the time and effort so any advice is always welcomed and appreciated.

I need some help with my schedules though so I'd be amazingly grateful if @Emilya could help me :).

My Coco schedule:

PH 6
Water PPM Start Out 0?ppm
100% Canna Coco
CalMag - Up To 200ppm
BioBizz Bio-Grow - 1.5ml Per L
Greenleaf Sweet - 1g Per 5L (Every 2 Waterings)
Orca - 1ml Per L

I don't quite know what my water is as I've been using 5L bottled water from the store as our water recently from the tap has been debatable, I've also not been watering daily while the have been so small so once every 3 days but a good amount to last and the reason being is I've been quite ill and busy at the same time so they've been sort of neglected.

My Soil Schedule is:

PH 6.3
BioBizz All Mix
BioBizz BioGrow - 1.5ml Per L
Orca - 1ml Per L

Watered every 3-5 days or when needed, I was hoping I could build the root mass up first hand which I think is doing great by the looks of the growth and then hoped I could water every 2-3 days as there all in 8L fabric pots and the reason for such small pots is I want to get my taste ect all dialled in so start small then go big, plus I can add more small plants in and around but always concentrating on airflow.

Well it's day 12 of Flower for these Big Nugs Fast and pre flowers are starting to show nicely.
