LL'sBestGo's: Variety Pro-Mix HP LED Grow

Found something for micro's..
Got some Earth Juice Micro Blast for micro nutrients,
Probably going to start using General Organics Bio Thrive grow as well..

1606010311560.png

I'll likely have to pick up something else for flowering when the time comes near, I'm thinking Bio Thrive Bloom..

Costs so far
Earth Juice microblast - $12.50
FloraNectar - $22.00
Dr.Earth Pure gold All Purpose - $10.00
General Organics CalMag+ - $20.00
Alaska Fish Fertilizer - $10.00
ProMix HP - $48.00
$122.50

Earth Juice natural up & down, BioThrive Grow, & Liquinox b-1 start I purchased before this grow..
I have a bit of BioThrive grow leftover to use, then I'll most likely have to purchase more of that, & something once flowering comes along as well..

It's looking like the NPK ratio for veg will be about 10-5-6

From my understanding what I was using before is more like a combination of snacks as opposed to a full meal.
Each prior fertilizer I've used had low percentages of NPK overall & a Higher amount of percent of macro nutrients couldn't be achieved as easily per volume of nutrients used.

So I'll be adding the Bio Thrive Grow, & Earth Juice Micro Blast..
For the Micro Blast It says to use every 2 - 4 weeks so I'll probably just go by that.
starting @ next watering

Euhm yeah good luck!? :)
I'm with PK too many bottles.. how to keep track of that, or find the right spot.. with different strains, not all respond equal to nutrients, but since that other grow had some nice frosty buds I'm sure it'll be aight!
The seedling does look the happiest but I'm a stranger to clonegrow so those starting off always look strange to me.

npk is only half of equation of what the plants needs. Plants also need micros which you are missing.
@MrSauga can explain better
Micronutrients are key for a healthy plant. You can read a little summary on the what a plant needs by clicking the link below. :)

Gave my plants 1-1-1-1 ratio of Dr.Earth Pure Gold all purpose, Flora Nectar, Fish Fertilizer, & Bio Thrive Grow, along with .3 ml of Micro Blast per cup of water.

NPK should be around 10-5-6, + the micronutrients now.

Also did some pruning on all the plants, & more lst on the Blueberry & Lemon Sour Diesel.

Can't wait for the results, Hopefully I'll be good throughout Veg @ this point.

I'm wondering.. my micro nutrients say to use 1 tsp per gallon every 2-4 weeks.
Should I add micronutrients @ every watering?
Here's the Micro Blast content
Ideally you stick with the manufacturer's recommendations and adjust accordingly. By listening to your plants you can decide if they need to be fed more than every 2-4 weeks or less. I don't know much about that nute line so unless you know from past results what to expect than you kinda go with the less is more concept.
If you are a new grower, then learning the basics of feeding before adding all kinds of supplements is most certainly the most advantageous way to start.

All in all they have growing a bit slower than they could from the start due to my errors..
Makes sense it took 30+ days to get this far..

I uppotted too early in too large of a pot, buried them slightly too much, didn't fill the pot completely, & had aphid & nutrient problems.

Looks like I unknowingly invested in supplements thinking I could use them for my main fertilization..
Thus the start of using the Bio Thrive so the plants get a full meal.

Hopefully it all works out & is all sorted out now.

The plants are already looking happier.:)

I was reading deficiencies in older leaves can recover only so much after treatment, & after treatment the newer growth should be healthier if the problem was corrected.
& also defoliation isn't recommended until after recovery
Anyways I've already done some slight defoliation so it's a bit too late for that..

They're looking a bit more responsive today as far as I can tell,
I topped the Blueberry, & started lightly training the Mystery Seed once again

I applied a light top dressing of dolomite, & some Jobe's Organics Vegetable & tomato fertilizer, which I already had.
1606269462512.png
1606271161968.png
I'm hoping by adding this I can supply the soil with some beneficial microbes to help with nutrient uptake,
as for the dolomite lime I added that as a precaution for Ph fluctuations.

After Applying the dolomite & Jobe's I gave each plant a thorough watering with some more Micro Blast @ a Ph of 6.5..
This time when watering I was sure to saturate around the outer edges of the pots, using 2 gallons total for all 4 plants, & the backup in the middle. Not enough water for runoff.
Added the Micro Blast @ a rate of 1 tsp per gallon, kind of felt like I didn't use enough last time & I wanted to ensure the deeper soil has micronutrients as well.
The outer exteriors of the pots have been kind of dry as well, perhaps I wasn't watering enough outside the area of the root mass.

Yay, got gifted some decent quality bud & found a seed. I'm not sure what strain it is, but I'm going to start it.
Pretty hardy seed & I've been wanting to use everything I've learned from a start to test out everything from scratch.

I'll do a step by step for the upcoming seed
Showing everything I'll do, just these pictures for now until I work out a full plan for it.
I'll just be keeping it in the tent with the rest of the plants to grow, until I can determine whether or not it's a female.

Germinating the seed
soaking for 12-24 hours depending on the seed, then going into paper towel until sprout or in soil if sprouted..

:yahoo:
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

All the plants seem to be coming back to health except the OG #7 on the top right is taking a bit longer.
Looks like it's an iron/nitrogen deficiency that it's coming out off, or some kind of lockout..
What does it look like to you?
OG #7
20201126_132112.jpg
Might be recovering after everything I've done, kind of hard to tell.
Any recommendations on how much you'd feed with your nutrients @ these/this plant size(s)?
They are still drying from the last watering & it's looking like it may be a couple days at least before they are ready to be watered again..

Removing the ties from the OG #7 for now after this

Went ahead & planted the seed.
There wasn't a difference in root size from the last picture.
I decided I didn't want to mess with paper towels this time.

The runoff Ph when I was preparing the soil was 6.1 from a 6.5 Ph watering
Going with a Ph 7 for first watering expecting the soil to bring it closer to hopefully a Ph 6.5
Watered area with seed @ Ph 7

Placed in tent with dome for increased humidity

This will likely grow different from the last seed..
If it works out well, I'll probably be starting my plants like this from now on..
