N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Proof of life update for Day 46.

I’m alive and so are the plants lol.

They are progressing well, I rearranged them a few days ago from a line into a triangle lol. I raised the light and turned up the intensity in order to get more even light coverage over the ladies.

I’ve continued to adjust the ties every couple of days to spread the 4 mains out to the edge of the pots so the center growth gets stronger and grows up to the top of the canopy, I’ve been happy with the results as now most of the center growth has reached the top!

An under carriage shot of the training

Kinda want to get these ladies into their final pots sooner then later so they can get acclimated before I flip them, Id like to have this grow wrapped before the hot weather comes, I decided last year I was done with summer growing it’s way to hard for me to control temps.

To finish up a few individual shots of the girls! Happy Growing Everyone!

Look at those lovely little quads! You’re getting me excited for my next grow, which will definitely be photos and quads, that’s as much as I’ve decided so far. The rest.. :hmmmm: Things look great here. You’re getting to the fun, shaping stage, and they grow so quickly. Nice work N:thumb:

Thank you Hh! It’s been a lot of fun growing quads again! The last run I topped multiple times throughout Veg, I still ended up with multiple tops but the stems weren’t nice and strong like they are with quads!

Will be up canning into 5 gals soon, I’m running out of room to keep them tied down with the 1 gallon pots, the bigger pots will make it easier to really shape them right before I flip!

What photo strains do you have to run or are you going to be ordering something new? Either way looking forward to what you’ll plant next!

Excellent training and really healthy plants! I hope you're doing equally as well. :)
Thank you Shed. Things are going fairly well with the plants no complaints here! They have definitely out grown their 1 gals more on that in a bit.

Me and the Fam are doing well, kids just went back to school after a 2 week spring break. My oldest daughter has been doing horse riding lessons over the past year and is loving it. We signed her up for a horse riding camp during spring break and she was in heaven, she can’t wait for summer break to do it again!

Update for Planet Of The Grapes day 50!

Today was transplant day and moving day for these ladies and it was definitely time, they were draining their pots in 24 hrs so it was time to pull out the 5 gals.

I’m using the Flora Flex 5 gallon Pot Pros. They are supposed to root prune from the bottom thus the grid like opening on the bottom of the pots. I’ve used these once before I couldn’t tell if it actually root pruned or not but seems to make sense to me.

Anyhoo how bout some root porn.

Did a bit more training after the were upcanned pulling the 4 mains down towards the edges of the pots with my old friend binder clips! The girls were pulling the lawn staples out of the soil and I needed something more solid.

That’s all for now, Happy Growing Everyone.

Oh yeah they were ready. They are going to blow up after settling in!
Thanks Shed! Plan is to let them settle in for a week, if they are looking good after that it’s gonna be time for a flip party!

I try to wait a bit longer after upcan to flip so the roots adjust and then put out some solid growth to take advantage of all that room. But I've seen lots of folks flip in a week too!
I was gonna ask that, I thought 2 weeks was best but wasn’t sure how much root growth they do during the first couple of weeks of flower. Was hoping they would fill the pot in that window but now thinking 2 weeks after up can would be better. Was just being impatient I guess lol, Im wanting to have these down before July but an extra week shouldn’t be to big of a deal.

Upcans, root porn and beautiful plants.
Looking great N420, and I agree with Shed....they are gonna explode with new growth!
Thanks Rex! Nice to give them a bit more leg room with the up can, hope these ladies take off over the next little while so they are primed and ready for the flip!
Girls are rocking along beautifully!
Thanks very much Candy! No complaints so far, Id like to keep it that way!

Day 53 update.

Not a whole lot to report, the ladies are continuing to settle in to their new pots and so far so good.

I’ve had to mess around a bit trying to get my environment dialed in, the flower tent is a 4x8 it’s been a bit tricky to get the environment where I want simply because the space is bigger then were they were vegging, we are getting there though.

One last note, The smell these ladies are putting off already is very strong kind of a skunky sweet smell it’s quite nice. I’ve never had vegging plants smell this strong before! Once they get into flower they are really gonna stink!

Update for day 56.

They are plugging along and have now used up the water from the initial watering when they were transplanted.

Watered them yesterday to run off so that should hold them for most of the week. Seeing some nice new growth over the last little while, the center branches have become a lot stronger and will give me multiple strong tops come flower.

Me and the Fam are heading out on our first camping trip of the season on Thursday! We will be back on Monday, I will be cleaning up the plants a bit and taking a couple of clones in preparation of the flip!

I'm hoping it's not tent camping ;)
