Day 49 in bloom and girls are smelling sweeett!!!!
i am very curious about the smoke .

I think resin is mostly clear(i dont have a lence ),i am not very pleased about the thickness of the actual bud,i hope they get their time and build up.The size of the buds on pictures is because there is a pile of resin everywhere near the bud glowing and sparkling .I ll cure some good hash definitely!

Also, I read in a couple other journals people "back building" buds. Slightly trim the top of your bud to make buds get more dense. Now don't just go trimin buds, maybe something to look into

I would say you have a good 2-3 weeks left easy depending on how you like your smoke.

Yeah i know LA s technique I think i ll w8 for an other week to come,next is feed with overdrive...lets see how this will work first
By the plan Baxter i spose they go 9+ but when shall i flush??

I would flush when most of the hairs turn brown then they will suck up some and the buds will get nice and tight. If i have a heavy indica stoney strain I usually let it run its full course deep into heavy amber trichs. If i have a more up sativa strain i usually shoot for more cloudy than amber. Also depends on what you want more yeild or the way the high is.

Start cutting your nutes back. Your leaves are awfully dark green and you've got burnt tips. Probably why you're seeing some deficiencies from lockout. Maybe feed only water next time and half the strength of what you're feeding the next.

Hey,

a 30x "jeweler's loupe" you can get for $3 or so from ebay.

I found the loupe actually better in practice than this $2 60x microscope.

You harvest when some (maybe 10%) of the trichs turn amber/brown. Some harvest when more are amber/brown, like half of them. The more trichs are brown, the more THC has turned into CBD in the buds, the smoother the high. So if you want maximum effect you should only have some trichomes brown, like 10%.

Just looking at hairs I consider very unreliable. I had grows with all the hairs brown, doesn't mean too much really.

Further above someone asked about the "right" grow light. The trend right now is all CREE (or Bridgelux Vero) COB lights.

4x CREE CXB3590 good for 110x60cm (3.6x2')
8x CREE CXB3590 good for 110x110cm (3.6'x3.6')
12x CREE CXB3590 good for 125x125cm (4x4')

(This above just a rough idea if you want close to 900-1000 PPFD, what most "pros" consider optimal on light for flowering. More light is not worth it since yields will diminish over 1000 PPFD light)

That's what I would recommend to anyone right now. Whether you let a light with CREE COBs build or find a good vendor (who actually USES Cree COBs, not epiled or noname), estimate to spend about $100 per COB for such a light.

BLOOM WEEK 9

its day 59 in bloom for the girls and everything roll smoothly.
I am planing to let the girls reach at least 70 days.Resin is clear to milky mostly no amber at all.I ll chop when i can see amber by naked eye.
Bud fattening and density is something that i woulkd like to see next days and i am talking for the lower half of the buds.
My target is 80 grms per plant...i would be disappointed with less.

I'm at about the same point as you are, and I would guess it looks like you are overwatering. Definitely ph your water....between 5.5-6.5. Soil seems to work better on the lower side of that spectrum....hydro works better when between 6.2-6.5.

5.5 to 6.5 for soil?? 6.5 is perfect 6.2 to 6.7 is best for soil brother, and for hydro 6.2 to 6.5 you'll start to see lockout on a decent level.

Looking great brother you'll start to see your thickness come but if them girls keep that resin coming you'll be able to harvest frost alone haha

Thats true my friend,girls produced a good amount of resin.Clock is ticking,time pass fast!!!My own first ever buds are true .
I have the 2 clones of that girls waiting to take their place into bloom and my harvest session over for 2016!!!
After 6 years medicating with shitty street weeds,the truth is the last year was really very shitty,i finally will joy my own a grade buds
Hambone i use AN ph perfect series and i dont count the ph.When i just water girls i do register my ph about 6.5.As i do grow soil.
The yellowing on the girls is because they are finishing her life(i believe!!)
Next weekend update will flush the girls and sharpen my scissors
Cross my finger to put some weight till then!

also an experiment for supercroping ww and mk cut at 32 day of bloom.here is in 15 day veg i think.still on solo cup.

Yup they are nanners. Try to pluck em off carefully. How many are there tho? If its too many, I would just cut her down asap and cut your losses. :/

64 day in bloom girls had their food ,one more time will feed and next is flushing...

No,no my friend,there is only 2 plants in flower and i just wait to finish...i ll be patient and and pitch nanners if any other appear.
Girls are in 10th week of flowering and still getting weight so i think i will wait,we must not be far from cutting,still no amber though.

WEEK 10 (70 days in bloom)

hello guys its been long since we talked last time,and my girls are testing my petience!!!
I had plans of harvesting this Sunday but i need your advice for it...as i have mention before i like my joints relax me but not get me down to sleep...
10th week done now and i am troubled about if chop or not...
I will flush girls Saturday.I only water this hole week.
Here are some pics of the girls state and some trichomes.
To note that buds has not stoped growing.But trichs looks almost 100% milky.
