They seem happy again.

Although I am still working to determine how much of an increase in nutes I need.

I'd rather be low than burn them.

Hope once I dial in the nutes it will be fairly smooth sailing next time.

Can't say how happy I am with the cobs.

Output / Watt is amazing.

We really need to get away from the idea of wattage as anything more than draw and cost.

Dec 16 - Day 29

Coming along nicely.

Will be ready for a feed tomorrow.

Still struggling with nutrient defeciency since upgrading to a good led light.

Got my meter and I am now pulling 270watts. So my mars ii 700 pulled 308 and these plants are taking in way more nutes under less wattage with my DIY build.

Here's today pics. -30 here so they may get some tlc today.

So here are some close ups of my nutrient defeciency.

I think it's Calcium but would like some opinions.

Last feed I have 5ml of CalMag per 4l. Call for 4ml per 4l.

Should I stick with this for next feeding?

Looks like it needs calmag to me. I had some that looked similar. Calmag fixed it. I was under LEDs and using r.o. water. Now I use calmag with every water given

I'm using 1ml more than recommended per 4l.

Not sure if I should still increase or just stick with the extra 1ml.

Using a blue lab pen and it is calibrated yes.

Well I am sure it's Calcium or Magnese.

The issue is I am already giving 5ml per 4l and it says 4ml per 4l.

I don't know how high I can go before I lock out other nutes.

But Promix, RO water and LED all cause issues with Calcium and Magnese.

I gave the ladies a strong feeding of Micro/Grow/Bloom along with CalMag and things seem to be looking ok.

No more dying leaves for now.

I have been watering once a week trying to avoid over watering.

I think I just need to feed more often.

Promix seems to stay moist forever.

I may get a moisture meter and switch to drip irrigation.

4 of 5 Crop King White Cookies germinated and are potted.

They will live under 3x CFL bulbs until the Purple Kush is harvested.

I'll update on the PK tonight when the lights come on.

I hope so.

CKS has great genetics so I am excited to see what comes of them.

3 of 4 are now poking through the Promix. Amazing - less than 16hrs and leaves already.

Frost and mass is building on my PK.

Next time I will veg longer but I was unsure if strain and it is my first scrog.

I also am glad I left front row unused. Comes in handy and helps with air flow.

Here's a few morning pics.

Still struggling with Cal or Mag.

Gave each 4l of PhD water yesterday and will feed again in a few days.

I think increasing feed rate will resolve my issues.

Topped all three at 5th node.
Once they fill out I will 4 way LST and start prepping for my scrog net.

Oct 23 Day 20

3 weeks since sprout and I am very happy at this point.
Light is back close to plants (24")
Fed plants today for first time in a week.
Holland Secret Grow(3)/Micro(2) and Cal Magic(1) lowered to PH of 5.8/5.9
Didn't add any bloom.

Like the liquid much better and I am glad I made the purchase.
Next feeding Ill go with week 2 of the schedule 5/3/2

Oct 24 Day 21

The feeding has really helped these lady's out,
Growing great, just trying to decide when I should plant in larger pot.
Sitting at 79F and 50% humidity at plant top now that light is lowered.

Oct 27 — Day 24

Fan Leaves had some discoloration and are curling a bit at the tip as well as browning.
I think I have light too close, CalMag still not dialed in and PH issues.
Raised light 10"
Flushed before watering to check PH levels. Water from Pot was 5.6PH
Adjusted nutes to 6.3 and has runoff of 5.7 when feeding.
Think I would like to see it closer to 6 but Ill do that slowly.

Nutes:
Micro/Grow = 3ml
Bloom = 2ml
Cal-Mag = 3ml

This was for a 4l jug which each pot received until runoff was complete.
Next time I will add about 30% perlite to speed drying times.
I will also switch to fabric pots for more air circulation in media.
Now I will watch and see how they handle this.
Growth is good but fan leaves just seem unhappy.

October 28th Day 25

Plants look good after water and feed.

Still think I am fighting CalMag Def.

LED/ProMix HP/Rain Water are creating the problem I think.

Few leaves are mutated a but growth is good and few signs of issues other than the calmag deficiency.

Light LST on one of the ladies to start getting ready for scrog.

I am hoping for 2 more weeks of veg and then Ill switch to 12/12

CK says to expect 3' of stretch from PK so I am just hoping the deficiency doesn't cause enough stress to create hermie issues.

Well things are going well so hopefully some harvest results in mid January.

I like the scrog but will be getting a top feed setup next time around.

-20 today but the lady's are frosting up and putting on weight.

I am told this kush runs long at 10 weeks.

If I still have 5weeks left these buds should build up nicely.

All ml/4l

Lowered ph to 5.7 to try and help with my calcium defeciency.

Up until now 6.0 has been fine. I'm going to drop a bit to see if it helps.

White Cookies are coming along.

4 of 5 shot a sprout. Transplanted and one didn't survive.

Stuck the 5th back in water overnight and it sprouted.

So xmas day gave birth to a 4th White Cookies.

I am starting to build my veg cabinet quite soon.

Looking forward to it.

Wish there was an affordable tent that was only like 3' tall Max.

Well after transplanting one didnt make it. So I was down to 3.

Now it seems the 3rd doesnt want to do much of anything while the other 2 are doing amazing.

I popped a PK seed I had left over in water and with any luck I can find a way to have at minimum 3 plants although my hopes were for 4.
