Radogast 2 - Return of the Clones

Congrats on the chop my friend! Your garden is getting busy busy with it. :)
I had been thinking on putting two of my THC Bomb clones in the same pot, I think you just made my mind up on that. :laughtwo:

It's great that you now have your perpetual plan in action as well!

I'm going to take a closer look at your pics in a bit. Busy morning here.

:circle-of-love:

You were busy posting a wonderful Red Belly Woodpecker photo story on your thread this morning :) The Beauty Of The Changing Seasons

The Full Beaver Moon left a gift in the basement garden this morning.

I found this little creature clutching Iman this morning - so my wife named it David :)

My first thought, looking at the yellow and black of this 1/2" long bug, was to jump back and protect myself from wasp attack.

After moving it over to Yasmine, (s)he was clearly a Praying Mantis - appearing unseasonably for the Full Frosty Moon of November :)

Welcome David. :circle-of-love:

I'm going to stop the neem oil pest management sprays for awhile. I have recently seen gnats, and spiders, but not spider mites. I thought I saw something smaller than an aphid 2 days ago, but when I took off my glasses to look close, I didn't find it.

This appears to be a Mantidfly--Leptomantispa pulchella

A year round native of Canada about 1.3cm long (1/2") about which very little is known. They eat flies

Quick Flower room update

On the right hand side the light is hung at 48", Snocap Stacy is 46" and building flowers after 24 days of 11/13.

20151127_144519-1.jpg

Stacy would be even taller if I hadn't supercropped the heck out of her main cola stalk

20151127_143958.jpg

Also at 24 days, Northern Lights Stella had about 8 inches of stretch and is setting flowers.

20151127_144014-1.jpg

On the left side in the back, Girl Scout Cookies Annabelle, at 3 days, has about 4 inches of stretch.

Your supercropping went well, despite her irritation, she is doing very well adjusting!

I just love the acorn theme, it helps to tell a traveling story. I can vision a face painted on it, name it something like "Willy" (short for Wilson).

Nice update, per your usual standards good Sir!

And I WANT one of those Mantidfly's! I want!!! {{screams and stomps her foot in a childish tantrum.....}}

That last picture makes me edgy.....that poor little seedling looks scared to death of that monstrous acorn! It's cringing away like it's trying to run. Run....run far far away little Skunk!

Harvest Day - Breeder Seed Janice

Janice is an unnamed free seed from the breeder. When planted, results so far have varied from mostly sativa to evenly mixed.

Overall, Janice looks and smells similar to Hawaiian Skunk from the same breeder

I decided to trim all the fan leaves before cutting, bud washing, and hanging to dry. After cutting the fan leaves, there was less than a cup of final trim, so the girl did a final trim before washing.

Before and After - full plant

Before and After - main cola

I tucked many of the larger fan leaves in order to expose the lower buds to light.
Taking a look at how many buds were hidden, and seeing no difference in bud quality,
I don't really believe there is a point to tucking fan leaves once stretch is over.

She is so small and compact, Janice will dry as a full plant.

Harvest Day - Breeder Seed Lachesis

Lachesis, one of the three fates, is an unnamed free seed from the breeder. When planted, results so far have varied from mostly sativa to evenly mixed.

Lachesis has an overall loose structure of a the hybrids from this breeder with sativa looking leaves. She has a tendency to darker buds and a rather dank smell.

Both Lachesis and Janice spent most of their lives with spider mites. I don't think they reached their full size potential.

I havested Lachesis with some cloudy, no amber - looking for a peppy, daytime high.

Lachesis main cola - you can see the foxtailing - also that I trimmed only the fan leaves - not the tips of sugar leaves

Trim went to the worm bin this time.

10 gallon pots waiting for the next transplant. I had been planning for 30-day Iman and Bonnie seedlings a little after a 12-10 harvest.
The harvest came ahead of expectations, 19-day Iman and Bonnie aren't ready for transplant yet. The pots will wait for them.

WOW, Janice had some hidden treasures in there for sure.
Those buds are so stacked and compacted. Awesome, even though it's a small plant as you say, she sure produced like a giantess!

Congratu-happy-lations on the harvest.

:circle-of-love:

Janice was definitely space efficient.

Just like Hawaiian Skunk Hani - I didn't get a viable clone from Janice. If Janice smokes like Hani, she can substitute while waiting for Hawaiian SkunkFlower to mature. I want Hawaiian Skunk in my regular rotation. She keeps us bubbly and talkative.

If Flower turns out to be a Thumper, I'll be popping another Hawaiian Skunk seed.

Flower has a ways to go :)

Yesterday, I had a feeling

In the morning after breakfast I suddenly decided I needed to visit the basement garden, even though the visiting nurse would be arriving for my wife in a few minutes.

We had a power failure two days ago and I reset clocks and such. I had not thought of the space heater for my garden room (used only in cold months.)

Temps were low, until I turned on the space heater again.

20151201_122721-1.jpg

While I was down there, I thought of the two 10 gal pots that will come free in about a month when I harvest Snocap Stacy and Norther Lights Stella.
I already have a Stella clone in a big pot, so I decided on:
Snocap Stacy (4 weeks in the daisy cloner) and Hawaiian Skunk Flower (tiny seedling - Back Left.)

20151201_122232-1.jpg

When I got back upstairs the visiting nurse and my wife were having a joyful discussion about medical marijuana and the nurse's reminiscences from 'many years ago.' She thought growing would be a good hobby for her gardener father. I ended up giving the visiting nurse a 10 minute tour of the grow rooms :)

She was very interested in the leaf structure of Tangerine Ghita.

20151201_122354-1.jpg

Tangerine Yasmine (largest) and the 4 plants in square pots getting ready for transplant.
Borderliner Iman (Front Right) and AK47 Bonnie (Back Right) have big pots ready, I just want them to grow a little larger.)

20151201_122328.jpg

Snowcap Snow Queen - Young clone vs Old Clone. No clear winner yet. I favor the young one.

20151201_122407.jpg

Looking closely at the freshly planted clone today, and her spider mite chewed leaves from before she was cloned, I think I found a spider mite. I neem sprayed both rooms at lights out.

20151202_222219-1.jpg

Breeder seed Giselle C1(average daytime smoke) and GSC Annabelle, 8 days under 11/13 light, are starting their stretch.:goodjob:

20151202_220843-1.jpg

Snowcap Stacy (4 weeks) i still stretchng. I moved the light up 2". The supercropped main cola(right) is catching up!
Stacy has a better harvest coming up than Snow Queen had, so Snow Queen clones may be dropped from rotation after harvest.

20151202_220735-1.jpg

Stacy's sugar leaves just started to frost up

Congrats on the nice yields Rad. It's so silly the way they insist on regulating and controlling, but nice to see you in compliance. Who decides how much is enough? You don't need to answer that. :battingeyelashes:

The thing that gets me is allowing a max sixty-day supply when there were no open dispensaries - logically, that requires a patient to harvest at least once every sixty days.

Who does that?
