Lol i dont even know why im contemplating getting more seeds yet! All this breeding stuff aint gonna be for anuva few grows time. I need to get through atleast like half the seeds I got before I get more. Im gma have to rip the tents out and just convert my room, chuck 3 600w's up and blow the roof off my garage lol. Im gettin more lemon skunk in future cos im definitely breeding with that. Possibly Mama mia aswell as my indica base but I have spare seeds of her.

I love the difference between hash and bud. But thats probably why I cant say I prefer either. I definitely smoke a lot more bud these days but thats cos its readily available. I have to hunt down hash if I want it. I can however start making my own soonActually prefer hash....
. Gonna be using @Grandpa Tokin alcohol extraction to start off with but im definitely gonna smash out some bubble hash and isolator at some point
So if I have a an f1 and grow it and have a strong stable environment snd it thrives I should pollinate the plant sts and then mix that with female get seeds those seeds now become f2 correct ?

Not much to show of this little cutie. Seedlings are exciting for those popping them, but not so much for everyone viewing. (Check out the Nukehead thread for some bud porn if you want that right now....some good frosty ones up there)
For any new growers out there, it might seem like nothing is happening with this girl but all the action is taking place below the surface. You just gotta be patient. The main reason I use the clear cups inside the red cups are so I can see when the roots have started to explode. It also lets you know when you are ready to transplant.

I think thats how I understood it. F1 is from seeds you bought, then when you pollenate youre faves. the seeds that come from them are f2. I think lol
I think you need to kneo if the seed you have original is a f1 though ? In order to k so if when you get female seeds or seeds from it then that is F2 van stank has a few pegs back here I might have screen shot hold on

White Widow Mainline Update
I didn't get around to topping her last night but I did get her topped and the initial training set up on her. For anyone wanting to follow along with my 2nd attempt at Mainlining, here are your initial steps. I like to let mine grow up to about the 6th or 7th Node and top back down to the 4th.
This is what she looked like on Day 21. She was really picking up steam and growing fast. Rest assured that I slowed her down some today
Step 1. Find my 4th Node and top everything above it
And what it should look like after topping her down to the 4th node
Step 2. Remove all growth from the 3rd node and below. DO NOT remove the fan leaves at the 4th node. You need those solar panels to kick start the growth.
Step 3. Spread the two shoots coming out of the 4th node so they are at or almost at a 90 degree angle and tie them down or use something to keep your mainline base in place. I use my little "C" clips to do this initially. Eventually I will use something more permanent.
Step 4. Leave her alone for a few days. She needs to recover. I will water her tomorrow but aside from that, I won't even pick up her pot for probably 2-3 days. Once she starts growing fast again, I will top her two mains into two 'Y' s for 4 tops and then repeat the waiting game.

I commend you for having the juevos to snip your plants like that. I'm watching close cause I may try something of the likes come the end of next month when I start my next round. Hope you guys had a great weekend!

Its tough brother.....especially when you look at what she was looking like before I did that to her. But for me, it was a little easier with this one because I am running out of room LOL. So the training will keep her growth rate down a little bit and hopefully let me clear out some of the Flower tent before she is ready to go.
I also topped all 10 mains on my Northern Light plant. That was painful. She was freaking gorgeous and I had to lop off quite a bit. I gotta give her a day to recover before I take any pics of her. I feel bad. If I wasn't in the same situation with lack of room in the flower tent, I wouldn't have topped her 8 outside mains....I would have only topped her two internal mains. But I gotta try to slow her down a bit and maybe get another 30 days in veg from her (really not sure I am going to be able to get that.....it will be close.

Just for you Joe! Not a whole lot to see in terms of roots, but its always good when you have roots out to the sides of the clear cup in 7 days. This is one of the quicker ones so far. The Blue Dream and Northern Lights were about the same and both those have been two of the faster growing plants in veg (Other than the Stankberry....which is the fastest I have seen on any of the plants I have grown).
Give it 3 or 4 days Joe and it will look very different. There will be roots racing down the sides of cup to get to the Stank Soil which is the bottom inch and a half or so in the cup.
