That was a very cool vid! Did you notice they drooped before the light went off and started to perk up before the light came back on? See DLI working?

One of the anecdotal gender signs I’ve seen is the lights on/off droop.

I’ve found plants that become males, oftentimes, never droop. They don’t droop at lights on, lights off, they barely droop when watered, and overall they stay vigorous and sharp looking all the time. If you pop your head in during darkness, all the females will be resting, but the males
Will be sitting there hard charging like there is no dark.

This is my experience any way. If I have a plant that looks great all the time and is always turgid and standing tall, I keep my eyes on it, every time that plant has turned out male for me

yeah no kidding. I reported it too.

They seem to come in waves. Like someone is trying to pay their bills, or someone finally cut the paychecks for the spammers to work. I’ve always been fascinated with people who will put more work into not working than they will just a regular job.

Must be a boy thing, I go turgid at night too🤣🤣🤣

Day 1 for the RVDV clones.

It went pretty well and they don't seem to be complaining.

The mix they are in is a bit complicated to explain but I'll try.

I mixed 8 gallons of The Answer potting soil with 4 gallons of EWC and 4 gallons of perlite, and then added 3 cups of dolomite.

After mixing that I added 4 gallons of used Durban soil from last grow, and then ammended the whole mix with 3 tbsp per gallon of Gaia 4-4-4 All Purpose fertilizer and 3 tbsp per gallon of Gaia 2-8-4 Power Bloom.

Then I mixed it all in the cement mixer for awhile.

After it was all mixed I made the clone pots with a 50/50 mix of that mix and more used Durban soil.

That makes this mix 62.5% used soil.

If it's not to much for fresh roots then these clones should do really well. If it is too hot, well at least 3 of the 6 soil clones have rooted🤣

Here they are all potted up in 1.66gals.

20240418_163537.jpg

Compared to the solo cups, you can see how small the cuts are.

These likely won't make it to flower as the timing is all wrong. In 8 weeks when the flower tent is available they will likely be too big, so the best one will get pruned back into a manageable sized mother plant, and next grow when I pop some LC-18 and Wild Lady seeds, I will add some RVDV clones to fill the tent out.

Here's the BK Gal with her 8 manifolded tops plus her 2 clone branches, and since the cloner now only has Figgy in it...

20240418_163612.jpg

I lopped off the clone branches and put them in the cloner.

20240418_142546.jpg

In anticipation of this I topped one clone branch a few days ago and this will be a 2 headed clone. It's the bigger clone.

20240418_143334.jpg

And this is BK with only her 8 tops and her 1st strapping down.

20240418_143340.jpg

She better like it, cuz tonight she goes to bed early. Getting her into the flower tent wasn't easy. 🤣

No pressure BK, that's just 3 beastly mutant tops eyeballing you. You got this.

Any bets on how far into flower that little 1.6gal Gal can go with only fish ferts, RO water, and topdressings? I'll rescue it if I have to, but mostly I'm just testing this mix.

The Worms are rubbing their bellies🤣. They already ate the 2 boys.

Git a bit going on there all looking happy and healthy

Lol it's so freakin crowded in that tent. No order at all. Well Ikky is fairly contained, but all 4 are different heights and they all have different footprints. None got trained properly. It's a miracle that 3 of these 4 even made it, yet they are all stretching nicely. Tops are becoming buds🥰.

And now that stretch is almost finished on the TMSC plants, it begins again on this one😪.

I have to remember to water it manually until it settles in and I can add a dripper or 2.

They were all supposed to get top dressed today but I ran out of time so I'll get to that tomorrow. Gaia ammendments and EWC this week.

Because I uppotted and cut clones later yesterday, I'm calling today Day 1 of both the BK cuttings and the RVDV clones I planted. Here they are.

20240419_140853.jpg

Figgy's leaves are hungry, but it's popping great roots. I'll grab a pic tomorrow. The BK cuts are larger than the RVDV cuts.

The smaller untopped clone.

And a blurry shot of the larger 2-headed clone.

Here are thec4 RVDV clones I uppotted yesterday afternoon.

Very pretty clones🥰. What a stellar pheno she is❤️.

Here is #1, the largest RV clone next to a standard solo cup for perspective.

B.K. - Day 1 of Flower.

The manifold is fairly symmetrical for only 1 strapdown session. It will be easy to tweak into place. She's getting photo-bombed by the 2 RVDV's.

This right here is why I gush over RVDV1. I saw this perfect sativa cola in her the day her seed cracked. Once in a blue moon a plant comes along with a perfect natural balanced All Star build, and I caught it with a clone😎. I hope her clones all look like this. I think they will. Stack away Lady!

And here are a bunch of random colas from across the tent.
