HazeSeeker i just went back to pic i had of what it looks like when someone grows it and they make me pay for it...

and looked at buds i made from that bag and cant believe the noticeable high quality of growing it your self

InhaledFreq I knew it would happen i have run into it with 5 previous plants from same seed thats why a week and a half ago i flushed them both...then Fiona again yesterday. I hoped it didn't but planed for it to be early chop...but super great smoke just the same...I want all these out of flower room so i can try these other seeds/clones with out worrying bananas seeding up room...Had a male do that already and was a super low harvest to minimize seeds but again super good stuff. above is picture from second harvest (small one) with few seeds that were found while getting them ready for jar. No seeds were found in buds just at bottom edges of a few nugs
siscokid no there are 4 more ladies in flower room still for this grow....they grow like weeds I will start a new grow with clones i have in veg room cause i will be switching to soil less grow
Been doing lab experiments on mice to see how well and fast clones root and grow in perlite/ vermiculite mix the mice aren't happy but the clones love it!
So the grow must go on brother grower

OK veg room and a few clones that will be transfered to hempy buckets once i get the right materials and will begin a new journal soil less grow.

those three are from hash tasting plant that is in flower room now which was a clone as well.

from friends bag seed....been testing new grow i plan on doing with perlite mix this is wrong container this will be transplanted again to final home once i get right stuff.
I have two clones i am testing with...this one has rope to act as wick to bring nukes up to roots as needed.

This one is from yet another differant bag seed and has no rope wick to bring up and nukes....wick is better till roots hit reservoir...but anyway more on plants from veg room in new journal i will start shortly.
The rest of this journal will be finishing up 4 ladies in flower room.

Update....dry weight for Fiona and other plant

sorry couple blurry. been drying 3 days and in jar since yesterday. I kept two plant separate till i was able to weight.....We gave a couple grams of other plant to family to smoke and we have tried a gram ourself...not as smoooth as cured bud but just as much kick...high last for hours...I still like to smoke every couple hours if i can I didn't want to touch Fiona cause i wanted a true weight for her. 28 grams and that is 45 days 12/12 if i had better genetics could have let it go another week minimum. I am jar curing buds as i smoke it so i know it will lose more weight. I am just happy i was able to get goal for her wieght.....cause a ounce for one plant cfl...is respectable IMO
The other plant 40 days 12/12 came in at 8 grams plus what we gave away and smoked so it was around 11 grams dry weight.

very sweet tasting buds with immediate head high and 2 hour long stone that lets others know you are High! As it cures taste get sweeter, smooth, fruity.

Since it has dried i have not found any more bananas ....but i did find one seed

Here is 4 ladies in flower room

One is from strain that hermies so will only flower that for 35 days and pull it just to get a little and those 8 plants from one seed i cloned will be gone Then i can rest easy that no one in flower will get my ladies prego
To date i have had 3 small harvests...mainly due to plants having sex with them self. but i have 3 different bag seed strains and i can now grow plant to their 7-8 weeks instead of 5-6 and get some buds! all Keep it green!

Man you have just really found the best way to train plants to perform their best under cfls. Every bud site is getting equally intense light and none of them are shaded. I would like to see how much you could improve your yield to switching to a single 175-250 watt hps light.

How long is a normal veg time for this training style? If it is longer than average do you think that it is worth the time spent training for the yield increase.

I really love your setup man and am looking forward to seeing more of your journal especially the final yield.

You should definetly switch to a small hps though I think you would be impressed with the results.

mellowman164...I would love to update to hps...can't wait...
and i will train them even when i do it is very easy and quick
and only plant i kept in veg room a long time was Fiona the big plant
she was in veg for 5 weeks.
Most plants i only veged for 3 or 4 weeks and training goes on
while in veg with little delay that i can see then continues into
flowering. When i get the stretch in flower room i let it grow wild
and when it slows down i tie it down in all those spots. and if it takes
me 15 minutes to tie it down it was cause i was smoking a bowl in between
So with this training there is no extra time in veg...I just keept them in
veg till i was ready for them in flower room.
I am working on getting one now...but funds are the problem.
I am just passing time with cfl's till i can get hps and start really yeilding
some buds! tks for interest in grow and kind words...I am also waiting to get
addy for seeds to be sent to from one of the banks here cause I dont want
them mailed to growing addy. Then i will be able to really start growing
with good genes and good light till then i can work with what i got growing brother

Yeah funds can always be an issue lol... well go check out Lowes I or harbor freight just looked on their web sites and they both have 250 watt hps security lamps for around 45 that you could easily take apart and make your own bat wing reflector out of aluminum. I would recommend sweet tooth number four jock horror or papaya if your thinking about buying seeds.

mellowman164 ya saw one at lowes 150w but have to order online and pick up 90 bucks
and for 50 bucks more can get a economy one 400w 140 bucks on another site....so just saving pennies now
I really liked the choices on strains you suggested and think sweet tooth #4 is one i would go with ....
