so day 64 came an went just a couple minutes ago apparently lol.
she's doin fine, lookin real healthy, pondering the next move, ie: more topping or take a couple of proving clones...she's a wee bit young yet for clones.
definately gonna take some of my own advice and try to stop overthinking it so much. tuff when yer tryin a new gig eh.
the stats......T: 77.3...RH: 56....PH: 6.7....REST: 71.6....PPM: 1000....wouldn't go over 1k today...but the ph climbed again...

. Use it ! add what it says every 3 days .. You won't be using plantacillin as it will be counter productive . I don't know how much you paid for that liter but you can get food grade 35% concentration for about 50 us for a gallon

She may not be showing many roots out of the netpot, yet, but what's there is obviously getting much healthier. It's amazing what a healthy root system will do!

yeh i think it was 18.99 canuckbuck....so about 23 usd...weget burned here even by canadian products eh.

hey newb, just cuz my garden is bug n mold free doesn't mean yours will be. every house is different. if you get bugs with soil you will still likely get bugs with hydro. same goes for mold.
i'm just lucky so far.....knock on wood...
and mr krip, yeh the roots are coming along, slowly but surely. certainly not what i expected of dwc yet. still wondering if it may be a slow growing seed. i mean, hell look at the dutch treat, how many different shapes, sizes and even ages that them seeds have produced...it's crazy the different phenotypes. so far 6 out of 7 harvested girls have had absolutely root bound pots, and one had a tiny lil ball of roots but pushed over an oz of cured bud.

on day 65 she got a bath and a res change....ruh roh
on an interesting note here....i found some heavy bacteria....in the cap of my ph down bottle. the stupid lil cardboard seal that is glued in there was rotting and black. cleaned that all up, didn't see any in the bottle, but i did cleanup the rim and threads completely cuz they were gross.
the stats before change......T: 76.8...RH: 54....PH: 6.8....REST: 72.7....PPM: 1000...no change here...
and yep we went week 3 veg extreme bayyybeee, lol. so back to plantacillin and see how she goes. so she got a washdown from above through the hydro and net with a hose, then a wash from underneath with the showerhead, then a bath in a gallon of water with 60 mls of h202 in it. the airstone got cleaned up as well obviously.

one plant shot today....you will get root porn in a couple few days no pain....relax bro...enjoy the moment, lol

Well when you run out of that expensive stuff ..do a search for food grade hydrogen peroxide so you get more bang for your buck!
On the seed part my therory right now was she was battling a strong infection in the root zone . I say that because she has really perked up in the past week and a half of treatment .
Ha you knew I would be asking to see those roots and your going to make me wait heh f**ker lol.
Good going on the ph down and nothing wrong with extreme in my opinion at this point as long as she had the roots to feed in it
.She is looking good and good job on that bath ...and icky shit roll out of that basket during her scrub?

thanks guys. yep she is holding her own for now....really came close to taking a couple tops for clones, but i want her to age a bit more first.
hehehe yep you gonna have to wait for roots...nothin to see anyways. my last cleanup, like i said i was kinda ruff on her and knocked some off, so waiting on more to come out. but what's there doesn't look too bad. the wash bucket was pretty scuzzy from the net pot, had her soaking almost 10 minutes while i was doodlin about. then i chucked a few cups of nutes at her sides of the net when i set her home in the bucket.
thats all for now..

I feel much better knowing the PPM's on your nutes were closer to 800-1000 PPM. The Planticillin is beneficial bacteria and not "nutrients" per se, so I'm less concerend about the additional PPM's coming from that. I do, however, DARE you to try 2370 PPM with your Micro/Grow/Bloom!

so went for a wander today....up to the post office. came back with what i'm thinking is some huge box for a lil air pump...
this thing is impressive. yes it works, plugged in and checked, lol. lights off for 6 hours yet so gotta wait.
its freakin huge!! the pump itself is about half the size of a soccer ball. lot heavier tho lol. comes with 4-25 foot airlines too lmao 100 feet of silicon airline, complete with backflow valves too. big plus, black airline, so no light issues with that now.
gotta sign up for the 3 year warranty lol

thats the one no pain reco'd to me, save i ordered 4 outlet instead of 2 outlet for a $20 difference. very good upgrade for $20. 50 extra feet of silicon, 2 extra one way valves and 2 extra stones. not to mention the extra output from the pump!! friggin sweet.

as it turns out, its the plantacillin covering the roots in grey the snot!!!
new stones are in h202 bath as i type this. i'm gonna wash her up AGAIN tonight and do ANOTHER res change tonight. FFS!!!
well at least i found the bacteria on the ph down bottle last night and found the snot hangin in blobs from all the roots tonight.
gonna be busy for awhile.
