Got to this stage again this morning with the WWxNL. Fingers are crossed that by tonight there's some progress and this one doesn't stall out.

Well to me it looks like I've got another refusal at the door. Hasn't done a thing in 12 hours. I really don't know what's going on here.

The others are chugging along alright. Those first leaves on the Blue Cheese are a little funky but the next set are looking fine.

Not good bud, did you make any attempts to assist in removing the shell before removing them all together?

The other two I did. One came off but inside was just a brownish matter, the 2nd snapped off as I was trying to open it. I thought I'd give this one through the night to try on its own.

Bro no sweat the blue cheese girls have wide leaves around day 14 lil fattys lol

Congrats on the new light VetSmoke, you will do it justice! Oooh don’t you hate germing and those helmet heads?

I’m a bean killer from way back and ya know there’s nothing hard about it just the uncertainty of - am I throwing another expensive bean out the window kinda vibes
Yeah I've no idea what's going on with these. They get to the same stage and just refuse to carry on. Will be interesting to see if the Somango comes up fine. Then I'll know it's the WWxNL seeds with the issue.

I think it's time to start preparing to move these into the autopots and get them on the full veg feed program.

Interested to see how you get on with these auto pots bud, are you going to top water for a bit or get straight into the bottom feed?

Best results I get from seedlings is watering from the bottom with a very weak solution right from the first week; 0.5-1ml/L BioGrow works very well. Not a lot, just enough to be drawn up by the coco
Keeps the root working and drives the development above ground along

But yeah, I have had whole batches of bum seeds - very disappointing but all part of growing I suppose
Interested to see how the Somango fares

Yeah that's what I was thinking, what's best way to get the roots fully established with your system. 😎

I'm not in a hurry to up-pot until the roots can hold the soil in the pot together for transplant
Generally by then the crown is starting to veg up and look strong

Yes will top water for the first week or two until the roots get down to the bottom. Then turn the system on for bottom feed. That's what Autopot recommend so I'll follow that.

The Cheese girls are poking roots out the bottom of the solo cups so I doubt it'll be too much longer before they're viable for transplant.

Fingers crossed the Somango is good. Otherwise I'll try presoaking the seed before sowing and see if that helps.
