Hey sandsman1, thanks for stopping by again. He calls them bullet proof because they are so hardy and healthy and soooo easy to grow. I'm sure we will be smiling come harvest time.

I had an occasion to turn the hps lights off today and thought I'd snap a few shots while the lighting was a little more natural.
These are the Caramelicious. The freebies are way behind in flowering.
Here's the room view.
These are the Caramelicious clones. They're not looking that great, but they aren't looking too bad either. We're hoping for lots of roots real soon.
This tray is Caramelicious on the left and freebies on the right. Ther freebies aren't doing so hot.

for what it's worth, i had my picture up as my icon for about 30 minutes until my SO called me a F**king moron and made me change it. until it's decriminalized more thoroughly, one can never be too careful. I am just glad to still have her around!

Yes, I remember you had your photo up. A bit longer than 30 minutes, if memory serves. We're legal here in Cali, but it's still always best to play it safe. Just the same, I still miss Ms.Fox's old avatar.

A couple of weeks ago we placed one of our prettiest plants outside to enjoy the lovely weather we've been having here in NorCal. We tried to camouflage it a bit, but it really seems to love life outdoors.
Today, we went out to check on it and noticed it was producing female tops complete with pistils. The picture quality is a little poor, but there are pistils none the less.
And again here.
This is all very strange, because here is the reason we put it outside to begin with...
...it was male.
This is kind of new to me...I had heard of and seen plants that started out female and went hermaphrodite, but had never heard of it the other way around. I suppose anything is possible, I just wasn't expecting it.
We now have 10 clones that have rooted and are hoping for lots more in the coming days.
While I'm posting, I thought I throw in a few of the girls. They are 4 weeks and 1 day into 12/12.

reverse hermie - that's a new one on me! cut off the female tips and treat them like clones, but have them under 12/12 right away perhaps?
They're still going to be hermaphrodite.

Hmmm, I've noticed that in some of the other journals that items have been discretely placed in the photos for size comparison and perspective. You know, like a cigarette pack, or a beer can. It occured to me that I've never done this, so I thought I'd give it a try.
