I agree airstone should be in your DWC buckets. That way roots reach for the O2. Plus they will get root balls that ARE HUGE. this is Afghan Kush only 4 weeks old. The roots are stained BC I use earth juice hi-brix. Hydro molasses. And it causes dark roots but they are healthy as could be

Iam setting up a similar grow, 1000w hps in a cool hood in my 4x4x6.5 tent. Only difference is Iam Gona run a flood table. My ? Is r u having heat issues inside ur tent ? An r u running 1 or 2 exhaust fans to keep it cool. My big issue I think might be keeping my res cool.

I have a 6 inch exhaust cooling my lamp, and with 2 4 inch fan blowing air in, constant circulation. I live in Canada so I'm using the outside cold air to help cool off my tent other wise I wouldn't be able to run my lamp on a 1000watts. I actually have 1450watts in my tent I got a 300 watts led on there as well and my ballast is cranked to super lumens!

I have 4 air stones in my Rez and I can see the air bubbles in my buckets so I'm not concerned I had them in my buckets the last time and they got so covered in roots they weren't really pumping air anymore. Thanks for your input though

I would also try and run your Rez outside of your tent if possible it will help a ton with water temperature

Wish I could but it's kinda built in, maybe an aquarium cool might work. An I also live in Canada an yeah outside sir was my thinking as well. But good to know I might need 2 more smaller fans pumping into my tent

Yeah just to equalize the pressure otherwise your tent will blow up like a balloon just make sure you get some speed dial's

I'm not sure, I've topped them once! And gonna just tie them back when they are getting outta control maybe next grow I'll try and more aggressive training method
