FLOWER - DAY 65

Unfortunately I didn't white-balance my camera, so the haircut shots were too dark orange to post. Below are some close-ups where the flash was helpful. Some of the colors are still a bit funky due to the HID.

Update: The girls seem to be doing well. The one in the five gallon bucket (Poly) stayed much more green. That's notable because they are all from the same mother. The girls in their three gallon buckets went yellow faster and much more so.

The buds are starting to fatten up, but not nearly as much sugar as I had hoped. I'll shoot and post some full plant shots. The yield looks low, but I'm sure every grower thinks that early on. I really needed to push more nutes. Most of the grow the leaves were not burned at the tips.

The trichs are still totally clear under the cheap RS scope, and I'm presuming they are going to go another two weeks. Maybe slightly less.

They are now only getting distilled and molasses @ 1.5Tbsp/gallon

I need to look up what temperature will push the trichs. Thoughts anyone?

420Legal....nicely done my man! I know what you mean about people posting. It gives you alot more incentive to keep your stuff updated. I like your scientific method approach to your grow. We LST'd several and FIM'd a couple of our plants and it has been interesting to see the difference in this our first attempt at growing indoors. Going to be taking some cuttings and trying our hand at cloning in about 10 days so hopefully we can do some of the stuff you have been doing. Great job....update us more regularly please.

Cloning How-To:

So I have to be about the last person to tell anyone else how to do this stuff, but in honor of Hypo Hippe's upcoming romp in the world of cloning, I thought I would blog my current cloning in soil method which seems to be working for me. I included a pic, so you can be the judge.

Hopefully you will get some do's or at least don'ts from my blog. Do please let me know if you follow any of this and if it works out for you. I'm all about the learning, so feel free to tell me where I went bonehead in my process.

just wanted to mention that if your using some molasses in your nutes you really only want to use black strap molasses. thats where the good stuff is for your carbo boosts. take it easy!

I've been using the only molasses I found in my wife's cooking stuff. I'm waiting until she notices that she's really burning through it.

Blackstrap is good stuff.
