Angkor Wat Mushroom Grow

This week I was hella busy because of the weather blizzard that hit here. Fanned these this morning and was amazed.

I imagine they will be popping up all over now. Enjoy šŸ˜Š. CLšŸ€. :surf::woohoo:

I'm hoping, but I also had a friend recently advised me that I'd get more growth in the center if I put some vermiculite on there that was wetted to FC

Off to the frozen grindstone to get another 40 hours

I harvested my Jedis in the jars. Was kind of messy cuz I had to bust out the center a little bit. And I think I had only gone into the room to get a glass of water and I looked in on them and noticed they were completely opened except for three or 4 cap. Into the dehydrator they go. I don't know if any more are going to pop up from them. We shall see!

I had a partial harvest of anchor in the bins too. I need to up my harvesting game too. I'm not very good at it. šŸ˜‚ again, I made a bit of a mess. Anyway it took surprising amount of willpower not to chow down on one of these on a work night this late

I think I may have killed the mycelium in the tub. Was looking really dry after harvesting, so I gave it a soak, and a huge part of the surface turned blue. I didn't get water on top, and I used distilled water. Will have pics a little later, my phone needs to charge.

I found a little blueish color on one of mine that isn't pinning yet. I was wondering if the water from the lid of the shoebox was dripping and causing it. I've been watching it, but not sure what to do about it.

Edit: I just remembered that I had misted some ISO on the affected areas, and today I don't see the bluish stuff anymore.
Fingers are crossed

This morning it's no longer blue but light shade of tan or brown also I'm growing suspicious of the bright white spots which I thought were primordial growth on the other tub

Um, either I didn't look yesterday or this wasn't here yesterday LOL

In sad news I've almost completely lost faith in bin 2

Wow, that long mushroom on the bottom looks like it's in stealth mode. Creeping along there thinking no one can see it. :laughtwo:

Sorry about bin #2, what are you going to do with it?
I'm not really sure. It's one of them things that with spring coming, it might end up out in the woods. The medium, not the bin LOL

This morning I harvest that tall one in the back, of the last pic with the sideways mushroom :) when I only harvest one or two, I set it on my baseboard heater, with a fan blowing at the heater. By time I get home from work, it's usually dry, and if not, then the next day.

This weekend I plan to pressure cook some more grain. Stay tuned. I got a big hangover this morning so it'll be a minute LOL

Only one thing I'm wishing for and that's for those jar lids that have injection ports and breather ports.
