What do you look for / hope to get from the capsules? I'm thinking about making some capsules myself.
Dutchman’s Pheno Hunt!

We use it as an anti-inflammatory for joint pain (an effect that is cumulative over time and not available from smoking), as well as for brain health because of my post-concussion syndrome. Also not an effect you can achieve from smoking.
I have ealy signs of arthritis. Would the capsules help with that, or would topical be better?
My wife has arthritis in both big toes, and uses my topical THC pain oil as well as taking the CBD capsules. CBD has an anti-inflammatory effect when taken internally (keeping the oil under your tongue for a minute is best way to get it into the bloodstream. But I have found that topical oil applied to the site of pain only works on places where there is little between the pain and the skin, like knees, elbows, and toes. For pain in other locations, the best place to apply the oil is to the Medial Dorsal Rami (MDR) where the spine meets the cervical vertebrae.
Seriously, have you thought of Jeopardy? You could bet 420 on the daily double and we'll know it's you. Kudos for doing your homework. Most people with problems such as you and yours just live with what the docs tell them, and feed them.

What a great set up you have going. My empathy with your partner too, my rheumy told me recently that aspects of my condition are akin to both fibromyalgia and chrons... I’m getting good pain relief from a 1:1 thing at the moment and it seems to keep the belly calm as well. You’re going to be swimming in appropriate meds for her very soon!
@InTheShed Do you get the stress relief effect from the under the tongue doses of CBD?

A 25:1 CBD oil dosed twice daily. Once in the morning and another in the afternoon.
A 1:1 @ 10% THC:CBD an hour before bed for aid in sleep.
My wife says within the first week of using the CBD she has noticed a difference in pain and nerve issues. The nighttime dosing hasn’t helped her sleep much yet but she is still finding her proper dose as it’s only been 2weeks.
She started off at .1ml and has been working her way up slowly every other day.
Maybe a similar regimen would help someone with similar issues!
This is one of the main reasons I was excited about this 20:1 CBD strain! She may have to take a bit more of the oil to equal the same effects but it will be much cheaper!! A 40ml bottle of the 25:1 oil was 92$ CDN!!! I just need to find a solid 1:1 that I can run along side this now in the future! For now the CBD Blue Shark will do!!

July 17Hey hey everyone! I’ve got a quick update today so I won’t keep you long!
First as promised the 20:1 CBD girls!
Super healthy so far and looking great with a beautiful sheen to those leaves!! Can’t wait to veg them out a bit longer and flip them in a few weeks time!
Next up is the cuttings I took on the other day! (1x of each pheno)
-Pink Kush 1-2-3
-Purple Queen 1-2-3
-Canuk Cookies 2-3
-Wedding Cake 1
All standing up looking strong so far! Fingers crossed for some roots to start poking through by the end of the weekend!
Lastly the clones from the phenos in the flowering tent now have been growing like crazy! I’m watering them every other day now and it won’t be long till they need a transplant! Check out these lovely ladies!
Otherwise that is all!

Those CBD plants look great Dutch! My Candidas were grown for the exact same reason: to stop buying CBD oil off the Internet. Problem solved and it will be soon for you and Mrs Dutch.

Hey ducth do you not slightly bend the the branches that you are keeping off the main ? Light super cropping will help encourage stronger branches for all those others shooting off your mains? Those cbd plants look great mate very healthy and shiny and the clones look good also
I think my next batch of CBD will be made into hard candies, instead of gummies, for this exact reason.

I do when I have the time but runnin all these plants keeping up with the clones and running a business has been extremely busy haha! When I have the girls out I give them a rub down and work the branches a bit! Thanks for the input Joe!!

You get that recipe perfected and then let me know! Last recipe I saw was only designed for rosin.
Now a days they are selling high cbd and different levels of THC to help with pain more. Or you can get a super wicked high cbd strain and then find a wicked high THC strain and decarb a 50/50. Then from there it's what form of oil and made with what ?
Blending in oil is the best way to go, so you can get to a specific ratio that helps you. I blend the Candida oil (basically no THC) with my Blueberry (no CBD) for my dad's canna-cookies. If I ever want to change his ratio it's easy to do, and I don't need to grown out another strain with a different ratio.
