First Grow: Outdoor Autoflower Blueberry & AK-47 In Pots With Dr. Earth Soil

Ok ok I just had to peek! Stuck the camera under the towel and took this picture. Does a 60th of a second flash negate the 36 hours of darkness so far???

At least I know it's not covered in mold!

She looks WONDERFUL

Gonna have plenty of scissor hash of that baby!

I'm not so sure about that :( There seems to very little trim on my plants. Blueberry 1 coughed up but 6 grams of wet trim on a plant that was 254 grams total...and just the tiniest ball of scissor hash (about the size of the smallest booger you'd bother picking).

20170801_105010.jpg

The AK-47 top was 143 grams wet and the trim barely registered on the scale. Nothing at all worth scraping off that scissors.

Having looked at the buds on Blue 2 I don't think there's a lot of trim on it either. Take a look at a pic of one of the tops from Wednesday before I put it in the dark and you'll see what I mean.

But hell, I'm happy with dense buds!

Very good job . she is gorgeous my friend..

Big day everyone...took another chunk off the AK-47 (on day 100 FFS) and Blueberry 2 got the chop on day 99!

Let me start with the AK-47 staggered harvest as it came first chronologically.

Here's the plant before chop:

And after chop:

Macro shot before the chop with amber:

Trimmed and posing:

Hanging out in their new home, which didn't last long bc I needed this bigger box for Blue 2. These moved to cozier accommodations after the pic:

20170826_084537.jpg

Total weight on this harvest was 100 grams before the wash.

And Blueberry 2 on day 99! This took me about 3 hours from chop to box. Trimming was a royal pain in the ass as the dry leaves were tight in the buds and very difficult to get out. Found some bud rot as I went along (I'm sure I missed some given how many buds there were) and the moldy buds went in with the freezer trim as it's going to get oven-decarbed and put into lotion...not into anyone's lungs.

Stats summary at the bottom, first the pics!

Here's the plant seeing the sun for the first time in over 60 hours. Did it make a difference? Who knows!

Here's a macro shot of the amber:

And here it the whole harvest piled onto the scale...any guesses as to total weight? This is without the main stem (hint...you can just read the scale)

The stem with the LST in view:

Buds all washed and laid out:

And drip drying in front of the fan:

Here is the trim including the bud rotted ones:

Packed into the box:

20170826_140123.jpg

But wait! Forgot to take some for the low-and-slow test!

20170826_140700.jpg

The root ball supporting it all:

20170826_143336.jpg

Now the weight:

Buds at chop: 761 grams (3x Blueberry 1 almost to the gram) and that doesn't include the stem
Stem: 52 grams, so the whole plant is 813 grams
Fan leaves: 45 grams (post wash)
Trim: 55 grams with bud rot included (post wash)
Pulled for low-and-slow: 26 grams

Interested in hearing everyone's thoughts!

Well dude, you already know my thoughts. I'd have to say that if this journal won journal of the month, It wouldn't surprise me one bit. I hope mines do dat!!! :thumb: time for much needed meds & sleep, or movie!!

Quick update for Sunday morning. Temp is around 75° and the ambient RH is a moist 78%. At least the boxes of harvest won't be drying too fast. RH won't be in the low 60s until tomorrow but I have the fans blowing on the lower holes so there is circulation happening. They feel dryer than when I hung them so that's good!

I fed AK-47 this morning (day 101...I'll stop italicizing that bc this is just the new normal) with 3ml cal/mag+, 1 tsp TigerBloom, and what the heck I went back to adding 3/4 tsp Open Sesame. PPM in was 655 and out was 499.

If it's going to keep growing I'm going to nute it like did earlier during flower and plumping.

An aside for my second grow (where there is no action so I'm asking here): When do I start cal/mag+ and when do I start my newly acquired BigBloom? The new ones are less than a week old.

I would start cal mag from week one in small doses increasing slowly as in flower I heard most strains. Like cal mag a lot specially indica dominate if in not mistaken . I do 2 ml per gal in coco and promix everyday .

Thanks Moon for the vote of confidence!:thanks: Someone else already won August Journal of the month and I don't even know how you win. If it's random recommendations then I don't think I have enough subscribers here to even get on the board, like with the POTM contest. But I do appreciate your appreciation!

Just credit where credit is due! Great day to ya shed!:thumb:
