From R-DWC To Silver Haze On Soil 2nd Grow

please dont worry mate. the milk will not do anything bad if it is fresh when applied. they will use up the enzymes that can smell very quickly. it wont affect the bud at all. I do this myself mate. please be assured it is ok if it has time to dry in the lights. mist is used to avoid big drops creating a magnifying effect on the leaf and it will soon dry off within the bud with airflow too. Dont forget thc is waterproof mate. the water ect will roll off the oily bits and settle on the fleshy ,at risk bits like mould spores try to.

Hey Peter I’d say that’s mold not spidermite. If it was spider mite creating that webbing you would see hundreds with the naked eye. Definitely double check though as they do thrive in high humidity. I’d check every bud, cut all the bad stuff and bin it. Like @Ganjagrandaddy said it’s just not worth your health trying to use it. Take any leaves off you can, to get the air moving, maybe an extra fan and I’d probably harvest and dry as quickly as I felt possible. I know running a dehumidifier is expensive but it will stop this happening again and cheaper than losing a crop to mold. Hopefully it’s just contained to a small area because everything else looks superb mate.

@Ganjagrandaddy
Is this good? And mix how many liters with how much of this?

i only add about a table spoon to a 1 litre spray bottle and 200ml of milk. It is a some kind of activator for the mould spores to self mate. works well . held mine off with zero issues to the bud

Holy shit bad news!!
Its gotten a few bigger colas!
I think im pulling it all down and dump the bad stuff before its too late!!
What do you guys think!?
Its only 2 weeks earlier and checked the trichomes and allot cloudy ones so whats the best decision!? Panic here

Mate really sorry to hear that. I think pulling the plug and saving what you can probably the best course of action. Going any longer may risk it all especially if the R/h is still high?

55% now mate
Just pulling the bigger buds.
But without a flush now wil ruin it or? Maybe just cure longer and save it that way?

Cut the bigger buds to save them and pulled out the rot.
Maybe leave rest to flush as smaller buds are less attracted to get rot? Or cut everything down at once?

I don’t flush myself anymore so I wouldn’t be worried about that. Looks like you’ve got some nice bud saved so hopefully enough to get you through to next harvest. With that many colas you can afford to lose one or two!! Problems like these sting at first but they make us better growers in the long run.

I didn't expect it to go this fast with the rot!
Glad I catched it on time. So I will take out the rest tomorrow and hang it for drying all together but this time a faster dry than last crop to avoid mold getting a chance to get on it.
Yea good save, you can always make Hash if you have to.
Yes man, will do some upgrades for air circulation and add a second dehumidifier.
Can't let this happen again !
At least the trichomes were 80% cloudy so wouldn't be to bad. Glad I learned again now.

Another #noflushclub member here too lewy. madness to do it.
So sorry to read all that mate. been busy today but a great call on taking out the tops and removing the rot. Spray with the milk. it does keep it at bay if the rh rises after lights out
This summer seems.to have got a lot of us this year. So need a dehumidifier now. worth the extra layout to save bud. thankfully Lewy was at hand too mate. in good hands

To be on the safe side just take all out for a quicker dry this crop and on to the next grow :D

So yesterday me and my gf cut the whole thing down and we choose for a quick drying method with some fans oscillating in the tent to keep the air moving and avoid more mold buildup.
Last time I hanged the plants for slow drying but now I'm a bit afraid to take that route.
The plants still had to go at least 2 to 3 weeks till harvest but ay next time better :D
I think it was still a huge harvest and I think even more than last time (750gr) so there is some progress and also almost none popcorn buds because I did a better defoliation Nd the strain was just different to get the light deeper into canopy. Thinking about running the exact same clones again and beat the hell out of that grow after this dissapointment and somehow incomplete grow.

love that rack mate. sad to jave to do it but it is what your happy with that matters Peter. careful with the fast dry , it can kill the terpines and destroy taste totally. Each grow is a great lesson i think. Roll on the next run. sub me in mate.
I am starting harvest too now. done 4 and still pushing 2 of the gorilla Skittelz, Hulkberry and the orange sherbet until the last possible harvest point. I want full potency out of them this run and the Os is killing it.
good luck on the drying Peter. nice yield

heehee , Anytime your in the uk matey. For this grow my favourite has to be the Gorilla zkittelz. They have been a doddle to grow and the two bigger girls are beautiful with their bud density and colours , The Orange sherbets sheer size and smell is great too. I messed up with no cal mag when they really needed it so my phantom did not produce the size i had hoped for either. she was my favourite up till that point.
Heres a couple of the 2Gz and os ,giving them another week before i harvest them
