For anyone with an opinion, feel free. This plant had decently sized buds before the accidental reveg. Then she got monstrous, like you see now. She’s going to finish HUGE. So what I’m wondering is if I just got lucky? Cuz why doesn’t everyone do this every time if this is always the result?

Well, I will say after the several plants that went to waste in this grow, maybe I was due for a bit of luck. The good kind. Lol.

Mimosa
Fixed what needed fixed. Added several supports, and upped the fan game as well. Big and dense = Jon worries about bud rot. Lots of moving air from all directions including from underneath. Took a smattering of leaves.

I’m just mesmerized by all the different colors of your hula hoop. Very striking. The plant looks great too btw. LmaoMimosa

I kinda get off a little on the hula hoop reflection on the tent walls. LolI’m just mesmerized by all the different colors of your hula hoop. Very striking. The plant looks great too btw. Lmao

Flower Day 70
Well, what would have been day 70.
So here’s a focus on a branch. I want you to see how incredibly productive this Mimosa is.
So this gigantic beast of a bud is nothing more than a real low offshoot from the main stem and cola of a first node branch.
This is her top - a giant, foxtail-y beauty:
These are the two big buds right below that top cola:
This is the very bottom single bud:
Like I said, that is just an offshoot little branch. See?
Here’s the main cola from the main stem of that node, up significantly higher than the lower offshoot of course:
There’s a lot more - there are a few other offshoots from the same first node stem that also have huge buds on them.
I’m blown away.

Looking a little more like actual buds today. Color creeping in. Starting to stop shooting pistils every which way. I guess this is when it goes from ridiculous to just plain stupid. Ie:

Looking more and more like actual buds every day. Getting fatter too if that’s possible. Almost all the lower ring buds are on the hula hoop now, and I have little two and three inch branches with large buds on them also falling over underneath the hoop. Gotta prop them up with stakes. Color rolling in in the form of orange hairs.

Well @Bill284, the crane became necessary today. You know I can’t do yo-yo’s (damn wheelchair only rises 18”, not nearly high enough for installing them suckers). Nope, I gotta do it all from underneath, and the hula hoop is a bit too big for the width of the plant. Its effectiveness is shaky at best. But I’m pretty good with stakes from below. It’s an absolutely necessary skill if you’re ever growing in a chair.She is ready for the crane my friend.
Get serious soon.
