Anyway. ... lol.
For any interested, my new auto training thread is up and running (only early days)
Ill be showing my old ways from before my time here at 420. Then just to see what happens, I'm gonna flux a auto lol.
This will be an ongoing venture as I may have to switch back to cfls for first phase. We shall see though!

Ok LA, just switched to 12/12. I am still dealing with a pH issue I believe, so there is some lighter/ twisty growth up top.
Should I defol at all right now, or wait until she start building up a little?

All you want is vert growth at the moment my friend, so step away lol. Just let her ride it out until your getting no more stretch/vert then its defol big time!

LA, questions for you! Is there any reason that you go for the third node other than it's the soonest time you can top for your flux? I let my plant grow to 7 nodes (I had issues at the beginning, and I needed it to recover before topping) and then topped to the fourth node because the new growth tips and supporting leaves were healthier than the third node's. I also performed a true topping and not microtopping like you do for your fluxes. Now I'm worried that I should have just gone with the third...I'd love to get your professional opinion!

OK my friend, yep I top at the third node due to the extended veg period of fluxing. That's also the reason for micro topping. Its all about not wasting any time on growth your not going to be using if possible.
Then its about the structure of the node. I've noticed over the years that what I call the third node is the first one with good strong structure. So I know from that, that this nodes limbs will be able to develop to the size I want and not hinder that first flux point in flow!
The thing to remember is that your plant will react totally differently to the same process used on differing points of the plant.Then tie that in with the understanding of how a process used at differing times in each cycle of the plant can effect things differently again. Get all that dialled in and your plant will hardly miss a beat!

I know, right. I often sit back and think "I done that". It has gone beyond what I thought I could do and I'm grateful to LA for putting the effort into me. I think I have done him proud.
Does one get a certificate when one has completed the Flux course?
