Me & The Mars Hydro SP-3000: It's The Cherry On Top

Just a couple of pics of the 2 Cherry on Top that the Clones came from. I'm not going to say much on these as they've changed over the past week, which you'll see in my next update.

Nice looking bunch of gals there! I want to get some kind of cherry seeds in the future. Im going with Maui and Lemon haze now. Cheers! Ward

Back with some current pics. These 2 gals have been in Flower about 2 weeks now & are starting to show their pistils.
I had this tent in my bathroom for Veg for the higher humidity, but I've moved the tent to my closet & moved the Clone tent to the bathroom since higher humidity is a good things for clones. RH is now around 45% instead of 65%. Had to take the exhaust fan down from the roof of the tent as the plants got too tall & I needed to raise the light. The fan now just sits on the closet floor to exhaust the hot air. I don't close this tent. Just close the closet door at lights out so the fan should work OK this way.
So here's a few pics.

All 14 Cherry on Top & all 6 Aurora Indica Clones have rooted & been planted in Solo Cups. I kept the 4 Cherry on Top & 2 Aurora Indica Clones I liked best & gave my buddy the rest. Poor guy had a bad WPM issue his last grow & lost everything. He bleached his tents & equipment & is ready to try again so I helped him out with the clones.

And here is a preview of how frosty this strain gets. These are the 6 Clones I took from the Cherry on Top plants to determine their sex. My buddy tripped out on these as he never seen clones being flowered like this. He's going to flower a few of the ones I gave him & grow the rest of them out. He has a 3 tent set up also.

These 2 plants are the Cherry on Top I threw in my shed to flower (overflow plants more or less). When I don't have room in my tents the extra plants go to the shed.
Anyway, as you can see in these pics this one plant has never rid itself of the puffy leave over watered look. I let it wilt several times thinking the soil was too wet, but no difference. It's just some freaky looking mutation I guess. The Clone from it is growing the same way.

And here is the other Cherry on Top. She looks much better than her counterpart.

And a single Group Shot of what's going on in my shed.

The Mars Hydro SP3000 seems to be doing a great job so far. I like it for the smaller 2x4 tent as it seems to perfect for that size tent. But I still prefer my TSL2000's (hooded lights) in my 4x8 tent. Right now I'm running 3 TSL's in my 4x8 (900 watts); but I picked up a 4th one so that will go in the tent after this grow. That will be 1200 watts of light from Mars. Should make for an awesome grow.
I'm suppose to be getting 3 more TS1000's this Weds. that will replace the 3 Vipars in my shed. I'll take Mars over Vipars any day !

Last weekend I moved this tent to my bedroom closet because of too much humidity in the bathroom. Bathroom is great for Veg, but not so much for flower. Since moving the tent Temps range from 73F (lights out, to 80F (lights on).
The RH has stayed between 45% - 50% so better than it was.
I think they are done stretching now. At least I hope so as I'm getting close to the light again. They're starting to stack now & I'm already seeing frosty sugar leaves.

This morning I up-potted the 6 clones I'll be growing in the 6 SIP Buckets. 4 Cherry on Top & 2 Aurora Indica. We'll see if it was just luck or not. Hope not of course & they all grow like the big girl.
Here's some pics of before up-pot & roots.

And now they're in the 1 gal. pots. They will stay there for the next 3-4 weeks until they go in the buckets. One of the Cherry on Top plants will be done with the SoHum Soil. It has 1 gal. of FFOF but the rest of that 5 gal. bucket will be SoHum. I didn't do very well with this soil last time I tried. But I only used 1/3rd SoHum so I used it incorrectly. I have to give it one more try the right way to see how it does.
Here they are in their 1 gal. pots.

I started feeding them at 2 gr. per gal. today. I'll increase that pretty quickly until I hit 4 gr. per gal. & then increase as needed. So far, all seems to be growing well.

She looks good. I grew one plant of "Chronic" but the thing stunted on me & I only got about 2 oz. lol.

Same happened to me running w Bruce banner auto pH wackd out stunted her I still got 2 oz but its no good to smoke no buzz at all bummer

Hey all, Sorry I'm not keeping up with this journal as well as I should be. Been in Trim Jail for what feels like forever.
Already harvested 2 plants this week & working on my 3rd one now which is the Big one. I have 2 more waiting to come down if I can just get to them.
So let's get updated: My 2 Cherry on Top plants for this journal are really starting to bud up nicely. However, the branches seem kind of weak so I've had to tie everything up. The buds are really getting frosty & I'm starting to smell them pretty good. Here's a few pics of them. The SP3000 is doing a mighty fine job !

Almost. 6 Clones & 5 lights. I do have a 6th one to put in there when I re-do the shed this weekend.
