Medical Grow

It works best incorporated evenly all throughout the medium anyway, so unless there was a very specific need to have it localized in those spikes or tablets, I'd just mix it in.

Now, for active hydro setups, these OC+ tabs might be interesting, but don't know about how they would do completely submerged.

You could do the same thing with OC+ regular prills and a tied-off stocking for less money and zero chance of the prills migrating.

Day 61 of Bloom:

Well, we've got all cloudy on the Jack's.....they're gonna come down in one week. We've clear and cloudy on the OG's....gonna let them go till after Thanksgiving. I tried a popcorn bud from one of the OG's.....oh my. Fantastic! I can't wait! I have not tried the JH yet.

The ATF's and Blackberries are ready! They're gonna get chopped Wednesday. Here are some last pics of them. I may take a few at harvest, maybe not. It just depends on if I remember to bring my camera.

Aside from being purple and frosty, the buds on the Blackberry's are the hardest I've ever seen. The ATF's are fat and firm, but not as dense as the blackberry.

The blackberry was started in Power Flower, and organic soil blend very similar to what SubCool uses. It ran out of gas about 3 weeks ago, so I supplemented with OC+ and I think I discovered a winning combo! As you can see, the plants are frosty as hell, they smell better than they look and they changed color, which Subcool says happens in his soil.

I'm going for "reputation building" weed, as I mentioned before, and if this stuff dries with some color intact, I think I've achieved that goal!

The ATF's are also very resinous!

So, here is that ladies last pageant:

The yield would have been greater in hempy....but I couldn't be more pleased with the quality. I am certain I could not have achieved this in a hempy grow.

Nice! Remind me to give you some Purp seed's. Indoor the Purps really shows her color. As this can be a selling point for some "color." Great job! On to the next.....

Prefered reflective siding

Doc,
Any reason you use the white plastic instead of mylar? Price? Ease of use?
I notice my mylar is water mark spotted from misting duruing the veg. Do you wipe your plastic down and should I be cleaning the mylar?

The white makes a nice clean looking room. It's easy to see stuff on it. it's totally light proof....and most of all it tends to diffuse the light in an even pattern, while mylar can get hot spots.

It's also very easy to work with and is stout enough to be used as a curtain.

The walls in that room were a sickly blue. After stapling the panda up everywhere the room was a lovely bright white! The plants seem to like it, and it makes it very easy to see.

Unless you get mylar nice and flat, it can cause hot spots, as doc mentioned, and you get that disorienting "house of mirrors" effect, which can help hide pests and makes observing plants harder.

It's a lot harder for bugs to hide against white.

you can forget about taking quality pics too with mylar walls, if that's matters.

Jeese, I know what BlueDog means with that blackberry... I love the way that bud changes color.

You did an amazing job nurturing those plants to make them as bomb as possible. Those nugs are TOP SHELF. Blackberry has always been one of my favorite strains since the first time I saw how frosty the nugs came out.

If you got a thing for the color changing type, I was looking at a few different types for my next grow and my favorite so far are the Soma A+ (rock bud), Caramelicious, and of course, the blackberry. I want to try something like purple-sticky-punch
buttt finding seeds or a cutting of that genetics isnt easy... :/ maybe someday i'll be lucky.

Aaaanyway, great job with the grow Doc! Can't wait to see what you have in store :]

:thanks:

:thanks:

I went for a more slutty look from the girls this time....sticky, gooey. No Miss USA girls on this grow....more like slutty porn chicks. The Jack Herer's look really good too!

Doc: Thanks for the clinical prognosis. I appreciate your erudite and articulate bedside manner. ;) I was actually thinking the same thing about your bud porn and questioning my perversity. I'm sure the smell of those ladies is over the top. I can't wait for the final numbers. Congratulations!
