I always counted from the day I flip to 12/12. Nothing else makes sense to me and I have seen breeders do the same so... I harvest when they're done no matter when I start counting though.

I will never understand why people count from pistils. Its totally wrong and should be banned. Its 12/12 or your deluding yourself.
In no logical reality can i accept otherwise.

Yeah i see people harvest on the day the packets says, and im all, what the?? When they look just about baked i generally do a week of plain water tho. Seen enough buds to just trust my eye.

I played it by eye on my first. Some seeds are right on some a little past. Then some like the doll and candy cream are gonna go 3-4 weeks past what the breeders say. I just let the plant decide. Not counting veg days anymore at all. I keep track cause it's nice to know. But when the plants structure changes and they begin to build like flowering plants then I will flip. When it comes to harvest I just watch the plants and their trichs. You know what they say momma knows best.

I think counting from the first pistols is for outdoor growers, and indoors should always count from 12/12. But what do I know.

I accidentally grow really big plants while waiting for the girls to flower even from seed they are more than ready when its time to shine .
For example right now I have waiting to flower a whole room of various size plants some are mothers and others already head height ,then I've already planted the next run after that they are showing 3s which are money maker ,ghs jack herer,kalishnakov,strawberry sour diesel ,and a few more I can't recall right now .
Then I got the nuke heads will be starting those tommorow...........insert drum roll ....been busy also preparing outdoor plots so will be indoor out door veg and flower at same time as usual .
Geez I got a bit carried away there but my point was my plants often have to wait there turn to enter the 36th chamber of shoalin! The flower room! So in the process sometimes veg time is out the window .

yeah, same here. By the time my flower-room is done, the clones will have grown quite big already.I just keep topping them sort of. That makes them fill out an even canopy really fast when I put them in the flowering room

Grow completed ,I've trimmed it all and most is gone now the veg plants have been swapped over ,this time I'll be growing trees ,they are on week 2 of flower now ,in veg at the moment all my nuke heads ,and mm, jh,ssd, lits of strains come on over to my nuke heads sponsored grow journal.

Thanks bro ,they did well I hit my , 6 lb dry target and stopped weighing haaha got about 10 all up I'd say not bad at all ,strains are all getting better as well got a place in the photo comp here on 420, I feel blessed
