SoilGirl's Soil Multi-Strain Grow Journal 2014

I'm being a procrastinating stoner... :lot-o-toke: I'll get there.

:ciao::love:

I was going to ask you something, but I'll do it tomorrow. ;):circle-of-love:

Looking forward to some snaps of the finished grow room.

Sorry no snaps of that just yet, tomorrow I think :) but today I have some pics coming up. Hope you'll like them in the mean time :volcano-smiley:
Looking nice. I might have to take mine down a tad early because we have four days of rain comming.
Probably not a bad idea, as long as theres some bulk on them and they are sticky with thc they will be fine :)
Best wishes for your harvest!

Now I'm finally going to do a halfway decent update. I have 16 pics, more than my usual 8 because I decided to take some bud pics of euphoria when I finished uploading my plant pics to my pc.

Update on my plants... and some Bud Porn!

The weather has been great for the plants, although at night its starting to get cold so I may have to start bringing them inside for the nights earlier than I thought, maybe in a couple weeks. I'm going to let Mini Lucy dry out for another day or two, and then I will probably take her and the two bonsai Lucy plants down on the same day. 3-4 days after that, it will probably be time for BBK too. then my first round of harvests will be over >.< kind of sad, but good to be done with finally.

After that I can focus on my indoor grow and just watering the new outdoor plants until harvest with clean water since I used such a well amended PJ-style soil. Sure I'll have to bring them inside overnight soon but oh well. they're all in small pots and aren't big plants, no biggie.

Here's a family photo from earlier today, not the best, but you get the picture...

Now, for the first time.... introducing... baby Blue Blood and (teeny tiny) baby Corleone Kush! They are the beginning of my indoor grow :) I'll have to get that new journal going soon now.

PA0900012.JPG

Here's Mini Lucy, coming down in a day or so. She smells wonderful, like an enhanced version of her mama. Also fortunately for me she bulked out alot more than her mom, I bet I'll get 3 oz off of her :) maybe 3 and a half.

Here's BBK, who I think will be the only plant to really rival Euphoria this outdoor grow. I wish I had grown more Euphoria and BBK plants earlier, the unknown bagseeds genetics haven't turned out as well for sure.

She's bulky, but losing that overpowering bubba smell. Now its more like a spiced tea smell, with mint and bubba mixed in. I still really like the smell, I just love Bubba haha :s oh well. I'm sure I'll really enjoy the end result either way.

Now... some bud porn! I love Euphoria lol, I have been vaping it away like crazy but I still can pretty much fill a mason jar. My tolerance is going up but its still such a good relaxation bud.. with Amazing tastes. As it matures a lot of earthyness is building in the flavor, although there's also a lot of grapefruity/orangey citrus and diesel fuel in there. It reminds me of a really good full melt hash I had once.... :lot-o-toke:

^ that last pic with the jars has Euphoria on the right, Juicy Lucy in the left, she dried and became a lot more popcorny than Euphoria sadly, but tastes good. :\

Here's the rest of Big Mama, which I'm probably going to dedicate to making hash using dry ice and a 25 mic bubble bag as a sift.

PA0900161.JPG

and here's Mini Mama still drying out :) I think I still got a decent harvest out of her, and won't be donating tons of her to making hash.

Thanks for coming by! I'm going to go attack some more Euphoria in the EQ :volcano-smiley::love:

Well Yahoooo. that all looks excellent. Congrats on what looks like a great outdoor harvest. I've got one down and one to go. My deck runt still has a few weeks left to go I hope, as long as this great weather hangs out on Vancouver Island.

Don't let them dry too much on the rope, that's my advice. In the same time control your budz after jarring every day twice a day and never stuff your jar till it's full. I learned the hard way not too do it. How are the air-pots doin' by the way? I never went back to normal pots after I discovered them :)

your grow is doing fantastic! your flowers(hip word) look amazing!!
+reps
Thank you for the hip, kind words and reps Corgie :) :ciao: its so nice to have the grow pay off finally.
Aloha SG! Very nice update. Those buds look damn good!:volcano-smiley:
Thank you Lester! :) They sure are yummy I gotta say, Euphoria blows my mind. I want to grow a million more of those euphoria plants lol, I have to keep the genetics going ;) I bet you're enjoying Zilla's buds just as much right about now too

Thanks for coming by :ciao:

Thank you SBG :) its been a decent enough grow. I hope to do even better indoors. Good luck with the weather for your beautiful plants!

Thats great advice Conrad! :thanks: I put Juicy Lucy in the Jar a bit earlier than the others and she smelled like hay for a few days.... I also stuffed Lucy's jar too full.. so I leave the jars open overnight now and its doing better. Euphoria smelled kind of wet and fruity before opening her jar up. I'm trying to avoid the hay smell from now on.

I have only used one air pot so far, a 7 gal that Black Bubba Kush is in... and I love it so far. :circle-of-love: I can't wait to see the roots in a week-ish when she comes down. I'm not sure how much of a role the air pot played in making her the plant she is, but I know it played some good role :)

I also have those 2 more 10 gal air pots, and 4 more 10 gal fabric pots from a couple different brands (one has loops in it that I think are there for LST).... can't wait to try all of them out, Mini Lucy is in one of the 10 gal fabric smart pots and she did much better than her mama :)

Love it when you come by Conrad! :ciao:
Congrats on your cure. it's why we do it :)

Yes Sir :) my room is stuffed full with curing boxes lol. I go to sleep smelling nice things :volcano-smiley:
Thank you Rado!

:goodjob: SoulGirl...

SG lets smoke some tasty joints this year in denver around april, 20
If I'm in town I'm down hahaha! I've been dying to try some of your buds, you put so much study into them haha.. :passitleft: I haven't had a good joint in a while either...
:goodjob: SoulGirl...
Thank you Reg :) hope you and babygirl are well!
Hey hey hey SG. Congrats on the harvest. Great to see your boxes of goodies. :bravo::bravo::bravo:
:circle-of-love:
Thank you Mr. Teddy, you're too kind. I'm getting excited to make some decent hash out of whats left of mama, washed and all I think it will be rather tasty :) I'm actually doing another harvest today, and then another will be on it's heels very soon..... but then thats it for this round of harvests for me :\ no more harvests for at least 7 weeks.

I'll go get some pics in a sec. :ciao:

Mini Lucy + Bonsai Lucy #1 Harvest!

Hi guys! I have been out giving Mini Lucy and the Bonsai Lucy twin that was in the smaller pot (the one that did much better and bulked up :)) a nice haircut to get ready for wash and drying, because I think today is as good a day as any to give them the ax. Both smell the same, like sweet lemons and something else odd but great ;) and are at both about 5-10% amber and the rest cloudy trichomes. They also both put Juicy Lucy to shame I can tell in terms of quality and yield, I think largely because they didn't get as much GO nutes, and also because they didn't get their pH adjusted at all.

Well here's some pics!

Hahaha yep, purple nails are back!  But they have some finger hash on them. >.<

Here's Mini Lucy :)

And I just felt like sharing a pic of the two first new outdoor plants to show flowering signs :) so beautiful, the signs of a harvest to come.
The first one is a Lucy reveg clone, the next is a Mama reveg clone.

Alright gotta go get ready to wash, and sharpen the axe. Boy, this is kinda getting tedious :laughtwo: I'll take a personal moment of silence before the deed with some help from the handy ol' EQ Arizer :ciao:

You are so awesome! I love everything about your journal. You grow some beautiful plants, and the buds look very nice :circle-of-love: :volcano-smiley:

Good Job :thumb: +Reps
You're so sweet Lester :) Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like it so much haha, maybe one day I can maintain the level of journal-keeping that you do for your awesome outdoor grows :circle-of-love::Namaste:

Stay well my relaxed friend ;)
those indoor plants look great. but where's your mulch, lol? I know...
Those are actually outdoors now Corgie :) at least during the day time. And I have some hay............... I can use that :) and old cannabis leaves. ...or just regular old tree leaves. We're starting a leaf pile this year.... unfortunately my red wigglers died I think. I need to get some more and get them into their own bin, and indoors.

Black Bubba Kush is getting the slightest bits of purpling from the cooler night time weather :) I'm happy about that, I just wish it were a bit more noticeable. I love colorful nugs, and apparently so does everyone else here lol, 'cuz hardly a month goes by without a blue/purple NOTM or POTM. I could leave her a few more days and see what the color does..... or I could chop today.... to chop or not to chop... any opinions lol? Whenever she comes down, the second and last bonsai Lucy comes down because I don't want to mess around with washes. :\

hmmm.... is today another harvest day? :scratchinghead::volcano-smiley:

Hello SG. I'm discovering that when to harvest is not just a dilemma for novices like me. :laughtwo: I was thinking about cutting Passion No.1 today (about 20% amber trichomes) but checked the forecast and it's set fair until the weekend. So today was popcorn gathering.

Nice popcorn. :tokin:

I think you made a good decision Mr. Teddy :) - and I'm leaning towards letting Bonsai Lucy#2 and BBK stay outside for a few more days, since there won't be any rain. But maybe I will still chop...... Idk....

Thanks for coming by Mr. Teddy! I do enjoy your company :)
