Soo I’ve been growing these two since late October, switched the light schedule to flowering on the fifth of January. This would make it its fourth week since the switch.

I am growing them in 5 gallon buckets (with two air stones each), currently under a 2000 watt apelilia led light. Hanging currently about 18 - 16 inches from the canopy. Both of these plants fill up a 2 by 3 foot area. I am using EZ gro liquid plant food for vegetative growth and flowering. I change the water and refill it every week with 21 ml of nutrients, which brings the EC value of the water to 840 and then bring the ph down to about 6.0.
I use an electronic ph meter and tds/ec meter to test the water.

So hello this is my first grow journal and my first hydroponic grow. I plan on making at least one post a week with plenty of photos. So I decided to start my journal mid way through flowering because I got bored and wanted some outside opinions from experienced growers. And also wanted to post some pictures of my plants ;) does anyone have a clue as to what these two plants can be? I got the seeds from a bag of bud and assume that they are siblings ‍♀️ and just grew them. I gave one the nickname alfalfa cause it kind of has an alfalfa on the leaf Alfalfanator? XD:Rasta: I look forward to joining the 420 community and welcome all feedback:D here’s some photos

Power went out, quickly moved plants into a dry bucket, decided to check the water, drank a gallon since Saturday brought the ph up to 6.3 and and the ec levels to about 750

Some veg photos dated December 27 the plant with the alfalfa is the purple-ish blue one. A week before on December 20th I got this current led light up and started using it. I Can really see the difference between the two plants. Maybe they aren’t siblings at all? A round the same time I switched them into 5 gallon buckets, from the 3 and a half gallons. As the lights changed

Photo dated November 28 about a 4 weeks into grow. In 3 and a half gallon buckets. Used single bulb led lights for each plant. Hung on top of a bird cage. Used the cage as a frame for low stress training. As you can see in the next photo labeled dated December 15. At them points in time I just fallowed the instructions on the nutrient bottle, didn’t do anything with the ph just tap water and nutrients. I personally learned a lot at those times, like root rot, light burn and nutrient burn and having the water level to high, which led to root rot(didn’t know this at the time), which looked like a nutrient deficiency, so I tried treating that, which led to nutrient burns. When it all started with root rot a miss diagnosis caused a lot more stress on to my plants lol. Trail and error I guess

Yeah I also am debating on defoliating a bit but I am pretty nervous at this point:eek: but I feel that I must remove some under growth, for the greater good *chants the greater good again* 1st photo is directly under inbetween the two plants the next one is of the bottom view from outer left side. Then the outer right side on

Water temperature of 59 last night but my thermostat doesn’t really change, so that’s probably been the average temp give or take a few degrees

Morning. I may be wrong with the Sativa. Looks like it could be a hybrid. Also I water at 22C as it is my understanding you should always water between 20-24 because this is best for plant and has the highest amount of oxygen. If I am wrong sorry but I am very consistent with watering temps. I also use a fish tank heater and air bubbler in my water over night which keeps it at 22c for me and helps de chlorinate the tap water.
Cheers

Celsius what? These are the days I hate that America is still not metric had to covert that online. Eh might be, but the plant looks fine, so I don’t think I’ll do anything about it. Some websites I read said that some plants flower better in colder temps at night, I think to 58? Imma go look it up
