Wild Strain From The Midwest

31 pages late but I'm in for the finale, if'n ya don't mind.
What's up Scrogdawg?! You are more than welcome to join!
I'm a little nervous, your plant were so beautiful and then you make you're way into my GH where the chicks look anorexic....I call it heroin chic.
Lol

Pretty fun little run. I kept a mom from F3. Holding onto her until I end up getting some nugs tested.
See what we are dealing with.

Just hoping they decide to swell at least a little bit.

The N+ is hitting F3 way harder than F1. Anyone that has grown in the dirt knows how difficult it is to "flush", it's just a waiting game now.

But, the trichs are still coming in so hey!

I can see the potential in this strain. Fairly pest resistant and very mold resistant. I'm glad I have a mother to pull from.
I wish pollen was as readily available as seeds!
An early flowering hybrid would be perfect to breed this with

Dusk shots show the ladies off a little better

Most interesting grow journal I've seen so far.

Great job on bringing along a nice ol' landrace strain. Looks like Oaxacan or Michoacan to me.

I'll bet it's gonna be very stony!

Thanks! Glad you took the time to pop in!
It's definitely been interesting.
I can't wait to really get a chance to try her!

How many weeks left are you thinking for this zip-line forest? And are you flushing the N and still feeding the PK? I don't think you should stop with the P at this point as it should help with the bulk.
Not really sure. The next week might hasten the process. It's going to get down to 38 a couple times, so around 45 in the tent.
I've cut My out completely. Only P K and Cal mag going until flush. F1 is pulling N from the leaves naturally, and fast. F3 is still hurting from the N+. Need to get a loupe and check trichs.

The smell is changing though so I think she is starting to ripen up!!!!

If I were going of pistils I'd prolly pull now but I want to get as much out of her as possible
Of course I go out and look after this post, and I go so all sorts of unripe pistils lol

So I'm pretty sure I'm going to make some fresh harvest oil out of this. Gotta throw out some props to SweetSue and G2HM!!!

I was looking at oils, as im not a huge fan of evoo's flavor. G2H mentioned how coconut oil was a medium chain fatty acid holder. So I looked into oils with long chain triglycerides, and found avocado oil!! Same fatty acids that make EVOO heart healthy!!
Gonna give it a whirl!!!

Don't be silly. It's trichomes not pistils. Didn't you just tell someone that in another thread or am I misremembering?
Haha that was my attempt to describe the amount of red pistils (I think) lol

I probably did. Trichs are the tried and true.

This Frisco OG gets me a little discombobulated lol
