Escape Velocities: Syenite's Stealth Miniatures

Hello everyone!

Earlier this year I started growing for the first time.

I live in a tiny, tiny house.

In 2020, I'm living for this.

The boxes

I have two micro spaces for the plants, each giving me little more than 30 cubic cm (or 1 cubic foot) between the top of the soil and the top of the box.

One has the usual top-down lighting. It's also a cardboard box.

The other has primary front-/side-lighting. It's not a cardboard box, but a small cabinet.

The plants

Here's our relatively mature Grub, a Pre-98 Bubba Kush, day 73 above ground.

And our young upstart, Loom, a Humboldt Bigfoot Glue (GG#4 x Humboldt Headband), day 18 above ground.

Loom's inherited Desert's ( ) old digs.

Some yellow-brown speckling on the first serrated leaves, residual from when I saturated the pot a bit too early on.

She struggled through that and is over the hump now!

The other things

Mix: Canna Terra Pro
Dry amendments: More perlite, diatomaceous earth, mycorrhizae
Base/macro nutes: BioCanna Vega and Flora
Micro nutes: Dynagro Protekt (Silica), Flairform CMX (CalMagFe)
Rooting supplement: Canna Rhizotonic (auxins + B vitamins)
Flowering supplement: BioCanna Bio Boost (some kind of PK booster)

That's a small pot she's in too. I wonder if that constraint will trigger her to flower even earlier?

Regardless, this is gonna be fun. It's a freebie so I'm not super invested.

At the same time, would love to get some Blue Dream flower.

Nope. It wont flower early due to size of container. I grew 24" tall plants in blue party cups from seed to harvest 12/12 schedule...

Veg mode18/6hrs On/off lighting.
Flower mode 12/12hrs on/off lighting.

Just bend/train your plant till your happy with its size, then switch to flower mode. Remember whatever size it is when your done Vegging, it's very likely it will dubble in size during flowering.

Great job on your air scrubber, good choice of fan & filter mod.

Just bend/train your plant till your happy with its size, then switch to flower mode. Remember whatever size it is when your done Vegging, it's very likely it will dubble in size during flowering.

Oh well haha. Autos may be a little different. They tend to flower whenever they want, regardless of lighting schedule. However still not dependent on size of container.

Since hight is your enemy at the moment, you have 3 options.

#1) cut off the main cola, it will grow outwards mostly instead of upwards.

#2) bend/train this thing till it flowers

#3) Grow Photoperiod plants to have more control over when it flowers.

An auto MIGHT flower early due to being root bound, its possible I'm sure. I really wouldn't worried about it tho. Just train it well and wide ,)

I wouldn't mind if it did! I'm just curious to know what the threshold volume might be.

This auto will be trained.. to take up as little space as possible! Yield will not be a priority, although I still want something from it. I have some ideas...
