Well hell Sorry all if it seems like I've been neglecting this thread there has been a very good reason! !!!!

Due to BIG safety concerns, I had to run this thread with a delay! As I'm quite sure some locals know who I am on here. This had me worried for my crop and my awesome new kit! So hence the big delay in updates recently.

I'm proper cream crackered, I've been at it solid for ages lol. But this grow is down dried and in Jars at my friends. My kit is dismantled and in storage for a while.
Now if anyone comes after any GG bud or my GOD light etc they will just get my little percy stash and that would be after a kicking lol. So I'm free breathing easy for first time in months! happy fooookin days!

Anyway just finished trimming last lot before jarring and packing off to safety and am shattered! So please all watch out for a huge, HUGE update tomoz with plenty of pics and I really mean plenty lol, lots to catch up on. Loads of bud porn and final numbers pretty much! Then we shut this one down!

To end this tonight I'm high as hell on the GG heavy oily smoke off this one. The other GG is more lemon in scent and taste. Both are wicked nice already. Much love to 420

Mark was very sick. Had pulmonary effusion and air in his lung lining. We think it was a virus, but not sure. He still has to get another ctscan of his lungs, but he is 80% better than yesterday and I think he's on the mend.

I hope. Cus, folks, without him, this doesn't work.

its a busy time of the year for the outdoor growers, could be a reason behind it. i myself have been busy with several grows is why i have lacked time and posts. soon enough ill be sitting inside looking at the snow enjoying my 80 degree rooms that feel like cali and will have more time here

LA, I got my light this week,it came very fast, but the cable with it was wrong and I am still waiting for Paul to respond. Can you just tell me what kind of an electric plug do you have on your GOD light? Is it round with 3 holes and screw on capability, or is it a square, 3 holes (pc cable)? It's weird cause I got a round cable, but the plug on the light is for a square cable. And now I am confused

Any help would be appreciated.

Firstly Enki, I'm on it my man it shall be sorted asap!

Cajun my friend, I haven't been able to finish my novel, as I've been without a proper computer for ages now. Yet my pal dropped his mom's old PC tower round the other day, so I'm starting up again soon.



Now lets get this journal all sewn up with a nice little bow!

Firstly let me thank this great community at 420 and of course its great sponsors, as without you and them this thread would never have been possible!
A special shout out goes to Onavelzy on this run, your a diamond my friend. Put simply I was blessed with some Gorilla Glue!!!


CATCH UP;
I was always a baseline grower, I live in a unfriendly country! I worked with low budget equipment until my sponsorships through this great site. This has meant for the first time I've been able to play like a big boy Unfortunately this brought new challenges such as security etc. (Now my equipment was worth pinching also!!!) This lead to myself having to run this journal scraping time here and there to build a time frame buffer. This on top of the grow being at my friends place! (Safety first and all that lol)

Now I walked into this run with pretty high and quite silly expectancies. I've never ran LED, or ever even thought of anything but straight dirt in a pot grows before. So this was all new ground an if truth be told I thought I'd walk it lol!!!
NAH!!! Stupid thought

Negatives this run!;
My set-up this run had no air stones for res or pot bottoms.
I ran norm tap water instead of RO (which my nute line requires)
My PH meter was off for a good while and caused lock out!
My NON Oxygen Pot Reservoir failed and leaked on me during flower. (Switched to top feed)
My access to the girls this run was quite limited, so my ability to manage low down growth etc was poor!
I also probs overcrowded the tent, I'd have done loads better off 4 girls instead of 6 with a bonus 7th.
Running differing strains in an Ebb & Flow system is problematic.
Unknown ground with the GG genetics lead to some piss poor production with those two plants!

ISSUES CAUSED:
PH imbalance caused lock out and loss of prime budding time.
Differing time frames on girls caused me to cock up a foliar spray with some. this caused halt in budding!
Reservoir failure caused my extended root mass in the bottom of each pot to fail and rot away. (Stunt caused)
I also suffered the first decent summer in years lol (Sodding UK )



Now we will have some pics with some explanations along with em!

We start a way back at first! As you can see I've already started to harvest the Cream Caramel Fast at this point. Most girls were taken in 2 stages! Everything is yellowing up, not due to my work more due to my cock-ups!

Numbers were poor for me to say the least lol I could have done better off to good and managed fluxes lol!

RD Came in 171g
Gorilla Glue X 2 132g
Blue Kush 182g
CC Fast 175g
A Haze 150g So a pretty piss poor yield this run!!!!!!!!

I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT CLEAR THE YIELD IS NOT A RESULT OF THE EQUIPMENT!!!! JUST ME BALLSING UP LOTS

PRODUCT REVIEW

Oxygen Pot Systems Ebb & Flow!
This system is quite good. It has the ability to run any medium, so therefore gives you the scope to expand and experiment with your growing styles and methods.
It does have some draw backs in my humble opinion. Firstly the roots do not air prune enough on the bottom of the cloth pots. This leads to your roots growing into the bottom of the green plastic buckets. The system, does not provide aeration to buckets or the reservoir. These are needed in my opinion for a healthy plant.

Its an easy to use and assemble system. Also quite quick to dismantle and doesn't cause the mess I had imagined.
I would not unless running air stones etc use this system for extended vegging time runs. Rather I'd use the system earlier to get the best out of it for a really quick veg cycle and norm flower.

All in all a good system when it comes down to it. They just need to tinker with it some before its perfected.
I'll of course be passing my info on to them in the hope they can combat some of the minor issues the system has! ( although new bucket designs are as we speak in production! I should get some new buckets to test at some point soon!

Now as all know this is my first ever LED!
Damn I got lucky!!!!!!!!! All Ill say is that without doubt my yield would have been up on a HPS run if I hadn't fooooked it up so much.
I kid you not this light even at the standard XG mode is an awesome thing to behold. The coverage is awesome with truly daft penetration through thick foliage. My popcorn buds were nuggilicious!

Anyone doubting BM and their PAR power claims should just shut up lol they really are the bomb!

I have the benefit of having all three levels of BM boards; XG, OD, GOD.
Well in this field there truly is just one GOD!!!!! The GOD edition boards are without doubt the most mind melting things. They stand light years ahead of the others.

My next run with the big boy light will be full GOD so watch this space!




So in short a successful run with some good bud! not the best in yield or quality due to the plants being through so much stress and hardship. Lots of lessons learned for next time.
One thing Am I sold on LED???? YES!!!!
