Hello 420 & friends. just a small update of whats been going on in the personal rooms. still have plenty of more work to get done, it never ends

hidden nug in back, looks thicker then the grape ape nug ive been following.. will try and get a better picture of this girl at next update. just noticed her today its about half the height of the Grape ape ive been following but is about twice as thick.

the soil i use for younglings. a 2/1 mix of happy frog to fox farms light warrior

almost half way there on transplanting the new seeds. in a week or two ill be taking a clone from them to see which are males and which are females

i just wanted anyone following to see this comparison and if they have experience with growing CBD strains them selves to chime in (and all others are welcome to obviously )

So this is Sour Tsunami, here in washington where i got my clone the plant they took the clones from tested at 0.64% thc and 18.12% cbd
now down in cali where this strain was bred at it started and was tested at less then 10% thc and upwards of 15% cbd.

so im expecting around 1-5% thc and 10-15% cbd (i will be sending a chunk of sour tsunami and harlequin in to be tested)

(below) Now here is Harlequin, its been known to be around 50/50 thc/cbd (i will also be having this tested)

(below) and these are how close these two flowers are from each other (so its not that one is further from the light then the other)

Anyone else experience this kind of results? from the resin output on the two of them, it clearly is showing that the sour tsunami isnt as strong in thc as the harlequin. (looking good so far for the sour tsunami)

im also looking forward to the smoke of sour tsunami since its two of my several fav strains.

Had a question....Have you heard of live resin extraction? Just heard about it yesterday from a friend. Suppose to taste better than anything. (That's what he said)

If you have, what do you and your area think of it?

Where can I get that multi colored sheet next to your vape machine with all the different degrees. That was sweet!

I cant wait for your test results.. My 3 Harle-Tsu hybrid from Sohum seeds that have been Vegging for over 8 months as you know I had them tested in Veg.. One came out to .53%THC and 2.06%CBD, Second 1.69%thc 2.11%CBD, Third 4.48%THC and 1.47%CBD... All came from the same seeds just tested differently in Veg.. What I have heard about testing in Veg is you have to let them grow for 8 months to get to peek CBD and just randomly had them growing that long till I was able to have them tested lol. Now that I have the ones cloned I want for us to juice and just started flowering all 3 mothers of the tested ones as you know haha.. I cant wait to have them tested from flowers if they are testing that high in veg form.. Im sure you will be watching as it goes... it will be fun to compare the resin output to yours.. Im sure the high THC mother will have tons of resin compared to the other 2..

live resin extraction (aka Charas) is the finest hash you can obtain but is the hardest. i have watched a few videos thanks to our community here at 420mag, and from my understanding you need at least a lb or more of live flowers to get a decent yield or some nicely grown outdoor plants (behemoth ladys) i could be wrong, but if i was to rub my flowers (trying to avoid the fan leafs) i would want to run at least a lb of flower material and have never been able to let myself rub them. i am one of the many that are over protective of their trics but at the same time i do love extracts. while the plant is growing i make sure nothing disturbs the flowers with resin. no air, no spray, no touching, no cutting, no pinching to feel how dense they are, nothing of the nature. once i harvest (im prolly the slowest at harvesting because of how much care i have in handling each branch) i still dont feel how dense the flowers are, its not till i check on them in curing that i feel them.

the multi colored sheet a member at 420 posted it. i will look to see if i saved it or just printed it. if its not posted by a member by the time i find it or not, i will scan it tonight when i get home and upload it for you. that sheet stays right beside my vap

ive still got the mothers i took my ladys off of in my veg room they are coming up on 5-6 months old now. my next grow will be all those new fresh seeds that ive started, once i take clones from them and discover which are females i will then pull the males from the room. then i will flower the females (that i took clones of) and see which has the best genetics out of the lot. then i will take one of the best genetics from each strain (the plants started from seed) and those will join my group of 6 mothers right now to make 10 mothers and 10 strains. the rest of the ladys that are not picked to be mothers, will then go into flower.

THEN i will finally do a full on cbd grow (if i dont obtain another tent by then)

yes, ive been following your grow and a few other cbd growers on here. i thought at first that maybe sour tsunami was more sativa then harlequin but it looks like harlequin is actually more sativa then sour tsunami so that leads me to believe that what im seeing is true, true cbd strains have very little resin out put. which could make sense of your plants having more cbd then thc in veg (where there is no resin at all) o the glorys of growing, never stop learning. thanks xbones

You may want to set your vaporizer to a higher temperature to fully vaporize the cannabinoids in your vaporizer. I set my Arizer Extreme Q vaporizer to 402° Fahrenheit to fully vaporize all of the cannabinoids.

i do notice different levels of effect from taking the same strains (from same batch) when vaping around 365 degrees and putting a flame to the flower and turning it into ash. vape is my daily way to medicate and at night i like to smoke, seems to release the sleepy effect. however when i eat good medibles (if they were cooked proper with good material) those can put me to sleep in 30 minutes, but the ones that over heat theirs or use bad material i can eat a full cake and wonder whats going on.. (to high of temps and to bad of material) what i like about medibles is the heat will activate the THC and many of the cannabinoids but rarely do you bake above 385 degrees and have no release of burning plant or benzene.. julies market makes the best, PEANUT BUTTER BUTTERSCOTCH BARS!!!

Ok I have to ask.. you vape at 365 degrees.. Is this on a E-nail or vape pen? I just got an E-nail and at low temps like that it just seems to not vape it all.. takes around 600 to 700 to truly vape it with a carb cap..

sounds like your talking extracts? so im not positive about all extracts, but the clear extracts that i have been messing around with dont hold much if any plant matter at all. so i wouldnt believe there is a worry of releasing benzene, i do not use a e-nail or a vape pen for my extracts i have a high grade titanium nail that i heat up, let it cool down so its not red hot and then i "dab" now i dont know the exact temps but i would agree that they are upwards of 500+ degrees. now the good clean extracts should sit there and bubble and you will have no residue left in your coil or nail. so if there is a weird blackish green residue built up in your coil or nail, the extract can be cleaner (and will take a higher temp to burn)

to break that down, extracts is a different ball park that im still discovering on a daily basis. ive been a flower child since i can recall and am just a few years into the extracts. ive been wanting one of those lazer heat guns, you may have just given me a reason to purchase it..

So i vape with my AROMED vaporizer, its a very precise vaporizer with a added water filter. its powered by a ultraviolet-free halogen light bulb that is controlled by a precise microprocessor. the light goes dim when your not inhaling and when u start to inhale it has censors that will create the lamp to stabilize the heat. its really the best vaporizer i have ever had and they are built strong. Germany made.

Also feel like mentioning that i ordered a new tent 6.5 x 6.5 x 6.5, so ill have a new tent for my mothers inside my veg room. should have that friday and this weekend will have my hands full again, then will update monday with new pictures. hope everyones having a green harvest!!

Wow never seen a vape for flowers like that.. Yea Im new into the concentrates too.. We just changed to E-nail from the torch since it was not worth the danger of it.. I have a temp gun and have tired to measure the temp on my nail after letting it cool down from red hot but it just jumps around to much to get a good reading.. But yea I have noticed it does depend on the concentrate you get on what the perfect temp is.. So far 600 has been the lowest for a good clean full vaped dab.. Im sure I will get use to it the longer I use it and when I start making my own that is AAAAAAAA quality lol

then i was introduced to Winterization which is much better then bho, alot cleaner and the temp on the nail can be low and itll still bubble away, but is used with alcohol so when u go to relight your nail (if the concentrate wasnt purged properly) then it will light on fire (cant be the healthiest)

now ive discovered Clear oil, and has became my new ambition. right now i obtain it from my friend that turned me to concentrates. this is the same as winterized but made with the process like bubble hash, it holds the terp smells just like the flowers had. still learning to make it when i get it down ill post in my extract thread.

Ah sweet! Yea I was going to do BHO or alcohol and purge it in a vacuum oven to make sure its clean but its still a few months away untill I harvest and can do that.. I also was going to make some dry ice bubble hash with some of it since thats full melt and try all 3 and see how I would like to make concentrates.. right now we are dealing with crazy dispensary prices for our concentrates and since its the cheapest you can find can only wonder whats in that crap lol
