All's well apart from being up in the middle of the night staring at the ceiling again GD thanks Comtemplating that Saturday is the day the ladies are going to the slaughterhouse as my good lady is working all weekend. It's going to be a long and lonely day sat trimming in the tent, but looking forward to seeing the results and ultimately having some medicine to try after so long.

Am I the only one who finds this part slightly nauseating... I feel a bit of a turncoat admitting that I don't really enjoy the concentrated pungent smell of MJ over long periods of time in the tent?

Seeds+122 days (62 days into 12/12):

Well, finally had enough of not sleeping, so at first light I nipped out to check on the plants. Around 40-50% of the trichomes were amber so I bit the bullet and decided to harvest.... here's a picture heavy update with all the plants chopped and trimmed:

Plant 1 (252 g):

Plant 2 (223 g):

Plant 3 (154 g):

Plant 4 (247 g):

Plant 5 (255 g):

Plant 6 (222 g):

Plant 7 (210 g):

Plant 8 (258 g):

Plant 9 (199 g):

Total = 2,020 g (2.02 Kg / 4.45 lb / 71.25 oz).... all now drying in the dark at around 18 centigrade... off to bed

Oh and yes.....i get nauseated every harvest around halfway through to the end....i too love the smell but do agree that it gets so concentrated it turns my stomach..........so your not alone there

...and last, but definitely not least a massive thanks to you GD too... I absolutely stunk to high heaven when I'd finished this afternoon (luckily GOD was not far away!), complete with a stonking headache from the aroma. Stripped off and everything, including trainers, went straight in the wash. Always thought I was a bit weird finding the enclosed smell nauseating, but it's reassuring to know I'm not alone in a strange kind of way

4 months? I've been waiting and getting mucked about with promises of rooted cuttings or seedlings for the best part of a year before I finally got hold of one and I've still got at least 6 weeks to go with it.

I should have just ordered seeds! By my next payday I should be smoking a mate's crop (mothers finest getting chopped tomorrow hopefully ) so instead of buying cheese to smoke I'll get some seeds in so I can get my grow room filled up and not have to rely on others.

Hope it's all worth the waiting

I had no one to turn to for clones or advice, so it was just reading up and buying seeds for me. Luckily, there are some great people on here to help with the questions, so best wishes with your grow and if you think I can help, just ask....

Soooo, a few questions for round two.... buoyed on by a decent first grow, I'd like to jump straight back in while the momentum's still there. I have a couple of ideas to change things, such as fabric pots and some Kingspan under the tent floor to insulate it from the cold concrete garage base it is stood on. I was wondering if there's a sweet spot for the number of plants and optimum yield for growing in a 5' x 5' using soil? Does growing a smaller number, say 4-5, with larger pots and vegetating for longer usually result in a higher yield? What pot size would be a better bet?

I love growing with soil and would like to go fully organic for the next grow and would appreciate any advice for improving things this next time around...

OK my friend in my experience 5-6 girls in your space is the max number
I've ran a wide range of numbers in tents and find with good training and less girls with longer veg it does indeed give me more yield than when running 8-9 girls in same space!
As for your adjustments yep cloth pots are wicked and the insulation bit is good! You want over 5 gal pots for extended vegging!

Anyway if your going to train more this run I'm here to help anytime
